Yeah it was okay! It was no-where near as sharp as my Bandsaw though ... and no where near is accurate with cutting 😆 But it did a good enough Job 👍 How'd you find my Channel?! 😂
its another type of elastic - you can just use offcuts from the bands, or alternatively, just use a zip tie (as a last resort). I started off just using zip ties.
@LeviMckinlay yeah but I dont have that roll cutter to cut them nicely along 5mm width...I wonder if I work knife like Mora Robudt or Basic can help me cut at least the shooting bands
Its called a Dremel. Its a small rotary tool that has a range of different attachments: Sanding disks, griding disks, polishing wheels, cutting wheels, drill and burr bits, etc. Its super handy!
Thats just normal sandpaper that I cut into strip so that I could sand the slingshot a bit nicer. If you find that the sandpaper rips when you try this, you can try adding stickytape to the back of it to give it more strength!
@LeviMckinlay clever. How would you suggest to use the sandpaper around some cylinder object for curved parts. Do you usually stick it to the cylinder or how?
@@Kranos_HowTo Yeah I would use some form of spray adhesive or maybe superglue or something to stick the sandpaper to your cylindrical object (I would suggest using wooden dowel). You could just hold the sandpaper to the dowel loose, but it's not as nice to use and rips up the sandpaper way faster.
@@Kranos_HowTo Yeah that would be some form of two-part epoxy resin 👍I've used that on a fair few projects as well, but wood glue works best for joining two pieces of wood together though. The epoxy is made more for other materials, or joining two different materials together (e.g wood to steel)
Look at those guns at 6:20 🤣
🤣
Cool Levi Was the jigsaw blade sharp?

@@LeviMckinlay Ollie told Me about it.
Oh Cool 😂
Very nice...get some super glue on it to waterproof and protect it....
What do yoy use to tie the bands around on the tips? What is that black thin strip?

Thanks! It took me a while to make.
How is that power tool you use around 02:27 called? Can have cuttind and drilling accessories as well?

@LeviMckinlay I supose it doesn't have enough power to drill stuff? Can you attach some drilling heads as well?
@@Kranos_HowTo Nah it drills to stuff great! Just as good as any drill (for its size!). Yeah it works with ball burrs (domed "drill bits") great.
@@LeviMckinlay Man then this can actually replaces all the rasps and sandpaper along with the manual work.
What bands, pouch and bslls are you using?
Using Snipersling yellow bands with a 12mm-22mm taper, just a normal pouch and some 7mm steel balls
@LeviMckinlay what thickness the bands have? Have you tried other bands in the past ? If so how they compare to the Snipersling?
Would you like to share your template design, please?
Sure thing! I just added it in the description! 👍 Let me know if you have any other Questions 😁

@@LeviMckinlay nice tips
What glue is that?
Just your normal PVA wood glue 👌
@LeviMckinlay I saw some people mixing two substances when doing similar project. Its the same thing or irs that a resin
