Matt the Engineer actually bcuz finishin that quest allows him to unlock more quests. Finishin that quest asap is worth it, even if the cash reward isnt worth it; and in this case his pure maths brain managed to assure that the cost of the quest was the same as its reward, so it didnt cost anythin to finish the quest. Unlike doin it to a higher lvl unupgraded mech
Nothing wrong with a curved shaft... They can hit spots which straight shafts simply can only dream about...

The list you get by pressing M also tells you, in which depth range you can find the stuff (useful for quests) and how many you have dug up so far.
Due to the depth range, you can figure out quite fast, that the game goes down to 1000m, as jewelry goes from 0-1000... it is an omnipresent loot.
I remember the first game in this genre, a free Flash game called Motherload. This is just another clone of it. Apparently Super Motherload is on Steam. It's called a sequel, but on the surface of it it just looks like a remake since Flash died. Not surprising given how many free game makers decided to sell out and charge for the same thing but not on Flash. At least it's a good game and not stupid-ass bloons and they bothered to give it new graphics, so it might be worth paying for, but not $15. Wait for a sale.
Super Motherload isn't just a remake, they changed the story and added structures that you can discover.
The general game mechanics are the same though.
You should subscribe, so he can get to 2 mil, and we get a cover album. :)

The last time I played a solid 2D mining game it was on an iPhone 3G. There were tons back then but this genre just went radio silent for some reason. Gonna need to grab this game now. Cheers!

Really would love more of this game. The mines work well if you upgrade the guy (top left option). It adds up way faster than you’d think.

15:30 I am prty sure that one block does not equal one meter in this game.
Your startin character, and all other (presumably) humans, is roughly a single block tall. So if this is the case, a single block is equal to two meters.
Which means you have in fact dug twice as far down as you think; that or the humans in this game are half as tall as avg humans in our world
