6:25 Matt : That's probably a real old reference that no one would get.
Me : Damn, I get it... I'm feeling old now.
Same here, and I'm not even THAT old.
Art attack is one of the best shows ever. Ruined it with the new series.
Same here from italy
*Anxiously waits to see if I’m old*
Edit: is old…
There are dozens of us!
Matt, there is actually no need to click the ressource buttons. you can also press and hold A and S respectively, I think. Be aware it also fills up the heat meter. Something else the game does not quite explain well: you can do several quests at the same time.
That heat meter really gets me. Eventually I just reach a point where it's crisis after crisis and I get wiped out. I have no idea how someone would last 1000 years in this...
That game looked cool, would love a part 2 sometime in the future.
me too
this is a really creative spin on clicker games.
Yeah, I don't typically go for clickers much but any game with a research system is my jam and this one looks really fun.
Both food and ressurces have a keybinding and you can just keep the buttom pushed if you want.
It's a bit slower than clicking repeatedly but makes for a more relaxed gameplay.
Also: If a workshop got damaged, it get's deactivated and you need to man it again. Just click the symbol.
At first I was only mildly interested in this game, enough to watch Matt play and that's it, but after seeing that ascension I kind of want to play now :D
Ascension is standard in incremental games, but I wasn't prepared for how cool it would look!
@@CycleMantis That's what I mean, I assume graphically/game play will change as well, instead of huts they have wooden lodges or something? Dunno this is still early access.
@Mike__B yeah, as you move through the ages ascending the huts and buildings change to match the age you're in as you research the new housing etc. Game looks amazing and is well worth the price if you like incrementals
Uses charge attack once, kills mammoth instantly, equally as fast he forgets about it. The crisises would've been so much easier... Hahaha Typical Matt
I'm not usually much of one for Autoclickers, but I'd really love to see a continuation to this series.
I love how there is absolutely no mental correlation between sacrificing the worker that generates food and suddenly starving because you have no food.
It's so frustrating, right?
Real Civil Engineer "i had no idea fires were so dangerous"
Never done any Civil Engineering in Australia have you, thats all you plan for
Ah, yes, Australia. Where "high" is our second-*lowest* fire danger rating and *extreme* is still not even the highest…
The 4 levels. High, extreme, guaranteed, on fire. 😂
RCE world-building so far:
Mixing a person with grains creates another person
Dropping some berries into some water creates a beaver
This is quite a nice take on the "click button number go up hit reset number go up faster" format of game, I hope you do a few more episodes on it
ART ATTACK WAS GOAT I always loved the huge salt drawings he did
I most liked the big arts made of a wide variety of things.
Matt doesn’t need video games to advance civilization. He’s just a RUclipsr to hold back power.
Weird
@@lassejohannesse4408 No you.
This game looks like so much fun. Might give it a try!
it's a very good game, at least like 10 to 15 hours depending on how much you enjoy and how slow you want to progress
@@willbordy I do love a lengthy game!
Give Paddy a boop!
Matt can finally rule his own empire
Im going to need you to play more of this game.
I played the demo a while back, it's a pretty neat game.
the only thing i don't really like is that last time i saw you fight EVERYTHING with brute force (no firefighters to fight fires, no doctors to fights epidemics etc. you fight it all by punching it) and the collectible heroes get very old very fast because you litterally get hundred of them and most are trash. but it's a fun game to play and is quite fast. i'm interested in what the following eras will be
Full playthrough please! This was surprisingly fun to watch :D
in the steam comments for this game it says you can hold a for wood and s for building resource to stop the need for carpal tunnel, might be worth a check to compare against autoclicker
While I'm not a fan of "clicker" games, this one looks pretty fun. Would definitely like to see you do more videos in it.
1:35 sussssss 🤔🫢
"Helloooo, its me, The Head"
Always hated that dude as a kid! What a reference though! x
You can easily generate click heat by manually clicking, the point is to make you manage the resources you have without having to click so don't expand your population with clicking to get passed milestones when you don't have enough food unless you are sure the next worker will provide enough food. Instead go onto the map and find objectives that will permanently increase your grain production (btw it's you only need to do 1 of the objectives like defeat mammoths or chop the wood not both)
14:01 Matt: “Wait, am I the problem?”
RCE: "I'm going to do some logging".
Game: "I see you clicked the button. You shouldn't have clicked the button."
0:42 'my free space has emptied'
ah yes the none is gone
there is no more of the nothing
Now this is a clicker that seems actually engaging
That windmill was definetly invented by an architect
MAKE THIS A SERIES!!!!
I loved Art Attack when I was young! The giant art pieces he did out of random items was the best
“Alright anyway next up we’re going to research breeding”
First video I've seen in a while where Matt plays a game as intended 👍🏻 I hope to see more of this game on the channel!
I loved the talking head in art attack :D
This looks like a nice chill game and I'm digging the art style. Would love to see more of it.
I got the reference, and now i feel old. Thanks matt 😂 art attack hasnt ever crossed my mind for at least 20 years. Thanks for the nostalgia 👌 made me smile
I last thought of it when I read a rumour that the host went on to become Banksy.
(He denies it, and there are more likely suspects)
Whoever did the Boosh! mod for Timberborn should do a similar one here for when a crisis destroys something. It'd be common enough to be funny, but not so common that it gets grating. BOOSH!
Woah! This game had so much more depth to it than I first though there would be! I loved it!
* RCE suddenly gets a Southwestern American accent *
*"Ren-ae-sance."*
This game is quite visually beautiful.
That was amazing def need a full series!!! Love your videos Matt!! You da best
The game is quite interesting. In the begining, I thought it was just a clickler. But then it introduces a lot of choices and equipment (talking heads) that change your strategy. Pretty fun if you give it the chance.
This is an art attack.
THIS is an art attack.
This. Is. Art Attack!
He also topped himself I loved art attack he showed kids you could make anything from the rubbish your house creates 😂😂
this is so good, Matt.
Carple tunnel simulator
🤙🏻 12 hour club (because work interrupts my RUclips watching schedule)
👇
You actually only do one half of the quest areas because the two quests on a tile are opposite paths and which one you do determines what the tile turns into
Man... Between the first internal and then selling a worker for s nominal amount of food and then being shocked that he was immediately starving... That was wild.
Art attack is a classic, I love it growing up!
I would love to see a series on this!
25$. A little steep for a clicker.
Omg that Art attack reference gave me a nostalgia wave 🤯🤯
1:35 ayo matt
Thanks Matt, triggered my childhood ptsd ref- 6:25
The art in this game is gorgeous
Art attack!!! That was my favorite show growing up.
Matt, whenever you play something, where you need to click a lot, stop speedclicking like an architect. Take your hand for the keyboard to hold the mouse in spot and use two fingers on the mouse button to get more clicking done per sec (little trick, I learned from playing paintball). Click like an ENGINEER ^.^/
Oh man saw the stick figure smoking when he's AFK in the beginning then saw research fire and was like ah yes...logic, he must light is cig with lightning... what a chad
"TheMoreYouKnow"😂
I can't
The pixel art is like so good omg.
Can’t wait to see more of this !!!
Where’s the series at??? You can’t end it there…. There’s so much more!!!!
Imagine everyone starving because everyone forgot about the windmill.
Mentioning Art Attack unlocked a memory I'd forgotten lol
Matt, what's the difference between a barbarian and an architect?
Barbarians are better at designing buildings
I think it's the other way around! Art attack is an old reference for Matt to know! He would've been a bit to old then would he not?
I can never listen to last Christmas again without your lyrics in my head
im 15 and i still get the ref 6:24 yea I had a great childhood
6:25 I REMEMBER THIS ONE
Loved the Art Attack reference 😂
Surprisingly deep gameplay considering it is a clicker game.
0:32 whatever you say sir
Art attack was one of my favorite shows
There's another quaint little town builder (what genre is this actually called? >_< ) I found that you might like. "Airborne Kingdom" Could get at least a handful of Eps out of it! ^_^
I want to see Matt play this loads of times
Ha ha or remember the head. With all his ‘laughing/sideways moving’ I bet they used to go through one a week.
I miss art attack, ive always wanted to own the big crayons. Although i wonder if they reqlly work or they were just props
I have played this game before release and seeing it full release is really cool, tons of new things
Beautiful game version right there
So you know, there is an autoclick button built in. It isnt crazy fast, but it is fast enough yo build heat, and it saves your hand and your mouse!
You an Engineer, I will never understand how you made it.
Day 4 of asking Matt to play Spaceflight Simulator.
I’d like to see more of this game!
Want to see more of this one!!
Upload more of this, that's great
Day 15 of asking Matt to play Industry Idle
That would be amazing haha
Yey! Exploiting the common man to get rich!!!
Matt see's a bridge, no bridge review
I was disappointed
I got the reference! I have been a huge Art Attack Fan.
I got the reference. Even tough i am not legally considered old
You do know you can just slowly reduce the speed of the auto clicker so you can still use it without it overheating
Hey, i did get the art attack reference lol. You're not the only old man here!
*Me yelling at the screen* turn your windmill on.
Is it really worth it to sacrifice workers to get a grain boost?
Thought the same... better to keep the worker, or not?
I did get the Art attack reference. You just made feel old.
Don't worry Matt I got your art attack reference
