Well finally tao and her friend survive problem sol- never they still die, that said that moment where tao was actually using the shock to snap her out of it was well thought out
A good showcase of why using items are important to provide coverage (and how taunt can lead to satisfying punishment on enemies).
I know this isn't saying much (given I haven't fully beaten the OG game myself, only up to the Fairy place), but I enjoy how they include more interactions with other humans. Feel more grounded and show the situations they're in.

Tao: "No. I wanna help."
Yoko: "Uh... You inspired me. Then I will help you as well."

The fact that we fought Lahmu HOURS early was such a welcome surprise. I think this is the point where the story started to massively diverge from the Canon of Creation

I think Lilith's redesign is an improvement on the original. It arguably looks more demonic/sinister than the original design. Which helps, I guess.
