The original was played on Classical Acoustic Guitar, 12 String Acoustic Guitar, French Horns, Ocarina, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Cello, Viola, and Violin. The main guitar's delay: Forte fortissimo (slight left), mezzo piano (hard right), forte (hard left), pianissimo (hard right). The chord progression for the first part is as follows: (Asus2, Aadd11+, Asus2, A/5-, Asus4, Bb/5-, Asus4, Bb/5-, Asus2, Aadd11+, Asus2, and Aadd11+). Great composition. Matt Uelmen is a genius.
I get goosebumps every single time I hear this. I know everyone says the same thing, memories this, memories that; but the fact of the matter is its' true. This theme is just too awesome to forget!
the beggining is diablo1 in town but after its d2 in act1 in cold plain with after a melange of act5.. i never heard the middle of this song in diablo1.. sorry guys
Actually... thats more like Rogue´s Encampment from Diablo II. Tristram have its own OST when you walk inside, which is the same that appears in Diablo I
I was also really feared. It was really... really bad when I opened this really bad door and the really bad Butcher shouted out really bad and really lodly : "FRESH MEAT!" ^^ I love this game.
I know someone from high school who says Diablo III is already developed up to the point where it's playable. I'm certain he's working for Blizzard, but for all I know he could be lying about D3. We'll just have to see. But yeah, I don't know how the story is going to continue.
actually i can tell by your comment youve never played diablo 1, as this was the theme for tristram in the first diablo *note, tristram was the only town in diablo 1
Doesn't matter, your initial statement was still wrong, since this isn't FROM D2, but from D1. And if you're not a kid, then try to type like you aren't one. That you have D1 and D2 shouldn't even be an issue concerning whether or not you're a kid.
i heard when you kill off all the main enemies of a series - those enemies being the driving force behind the series - and destroy hell's only gateway into the mortal world. You can't spin the lore to make a third game - and if you do, its really fucking lame of you.

it's Tristram at first but it changes to Rogue Encampment from Diablo 2.
Every track in Diablo 2 was composed by Matt Uelmen. Rouge Encampment is great and many more are as well.
Actually... thats more like Rogue´s Encampment from Diablo II. Tristram have its own OST when you walk inside, which is the same that appears in Diablo I
I am Akara, High Priestess of the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye.

best song and game ever created! but why they play that music at blizzcon 2007? d2 was created in 2002 no? wtf?
it's actually a medley of the tristram theme and the rogue encampment theme and a bit of the harrogath theme, i think and starcraft
it was so cool!! who was the guitarist? i dont remember his name :( shame on me
