Norton can walk your garage while being on their centerstand. And scratching the floor. And leaking allover the place. I ride guzzi too after Japanese and bmw adventures. I prefer guzzis and hondas. Guzzi character , cheap parts, history. Honda s after 1990 last long mechanically, good built quality and finish (parts quote expensive and hard to get cause of the loads of changing models)
Had two of the mkII Le Mans over the years. I had some of my best ever rides on them. The first one I took the ferry to Holland and up to the Dutch TT. The second one was gas-flowed with a cam and pipes, I took that to the TT and had a once-in-a-lifetime lap on the day we were leaving. I loved those bikes. They have a character all of their own, galloping along at eighty relaxed and with a soundtrack to heal the soul. Not for a tall person though.
Oh man - I remember these bikes from the 80s. To hear that glorious V twins sound again. And see those wonderful lines! the classic red and black Guzzi 'lemon'. Sigh. Good times. Thanks for uploading. Moto Guzzi should make a new version of this fantastic bike.
My brother had one of those and let me tell you, that thing hauled ass!I was riding my Commando at the time, which was a pretty fast bike, but his damned Guzzi really gave me a run for my money!
A buddy of mine on a 850 Commando rode up beside me and my Le Mans and motioned for a race down the straight. He was shocked at how the Goose pulled away from him. Previously he had always asserted that the Le Mans was all show and no go. Not the case.
On longer trips add a tall tank bag to lie forward on - very nice !! Oh, and you might want to rotate the front bake calipers to the rear of the forks... better steering impulse , IMO.
Correct! Centre of gravity behind st axis, less wobble; calipers run drier in the rain and fixings in compression. Also that seat is THE ONE. Dammit I wish I still had one.
Na próxima vou andar de hero puch meu pai não deixou quanto ele trabalhar aí pá quanto o meu avô arruma-se ele a minha mobilete vou tentar se conseguir eu ando
Why O why have you got those ugly damn side reflectors on for, plus the heat tape on your header pipes, really, I think you should give the bike to me, I know how to treat such a gem.
Omg she’s gorgeous
Fell in love with these Guzzi's ever since one overtook me on my Norton commando back in the eighties. That sound is better than rain on a tent!
that comparison!

A few years ago Moto Guzzi made v11 LeMans but isn't the same...
Sounds and looks great.

Everything simply looks right on the Mk1 Le Mans.

Aww. I did enjoy my Le Mans. It was a Mk3 though.
Nothing like the induction raw when the carbs are so close.
I used to say mine sounded like a Sopwith Camel at full song...
Great seat!
I have one in blue, great bike.
Tolle Maschine!
Man that camera has a good mic
This Moto Guzzi Le Mans resembles the Sneakster from Mario Kart Wii.
