I Run around the Mist in Yellow Zones as a Skinner for the Animals and its easyer to get the Red Leather there then in the Open World. thats at least something
I can rack up and fill my inventory before the mist close with skinning but I'm on a stag tho I try not to get greedy and take the risk of losing my stuff or at less the minimum if it happens..Yz mist not worth it,it drags so much and legendary if you can get in before people start crowding the zone you can easily knock down 5+ T8 animal at the start and some of them spawn at the last minute before count down and the mystikal's do it to sometimes I had one spawn near me as it started counting down

Hmm when I owned t6 map in black zone as solo gatherer there and only one in the guild and by gathering all 3 types, switching sets 3 times and 3 ava tools I was able to clear all map in 1h and had about 5.5-6.5m silver every 1h 15min just out of 1/6 resources every time, I needed a lot of mammoths to transport all the stuff by ava roud when there was any conection from my map just to any t4 t5 zone but it was like 3 years ago.

I know it will sound realy wierd and expensive, but that giant horse saved me ALOT in the mysts against that 8.3 guys. You cant carry alot of stuffs, but its pretty nice.
I´d say its good in terms of risk and its pretty balanced right now. In Outlands I can make consistently at least 2m per hour so its just a question of whether people will want to risk more for more rewards or be chilling in Mists.
Watching this amazing experiment, i started to think fishing is a better overall profession. You get to wear and carry only one type of gear and journals which means even less risked money. And you get to make around the same money/hour.
I am still in the process of levelling my gather core skills. Would the mist be a good place (yellow or black mists) as you can gather all the resources types? Or is it better to focus on one resource type at a time in normal zones?

My skill is high in skinning but the rest is at t5, so any kind of mist is good for me because I'm only looking for t5 and t6 to go up skills, the mount I used was a moose, and I changed the Carving sword for a Double bladed, maybe when I have a high tier I will use your entire build, What I do recommend is that when someone approaches, change nodes, because it's probably a ganker that only looks for gatherers, yesterday after 3 or 4 hours, I died precisely because I didn't take into account this last detail, having done it continuously, I was careless. It was also a full 8.3 double blade ganker, escaping from him was quite complicated because of his 1700+ gear score compared to my 850, practically with 3 attacks he would take me down completely. If it is in your possibility in a next video show us a successful escape of some ganker to have an idea of the steps that we must take into consideration and not to press some skill in advance.
Hey big lips i would you to suggest you to make a vedio about 8.3 solo dungeons map since it's been a time since you did them and also i wanna see how did the new bags system work did it affect the est value of dungeons since they count on your est value
8.3 solos are not worth it. There have been videos done and they lost money. The person did 50 maps and lost alot of silver. 8 flat are the best for profit.
Theres no taking into account of being ganked in the mists? Considering the gear youre using is kinda expensive, a death seems like a really huge loss (yes i know you can't team up and theres only few gankers in it but god knows when you'll be ambushed by a 1500 IP bearpaws/cursed/deathgivers when they caught you off guard)

I don't know how and where do you find legendary and epic mists. I did 5 hour session and only once managed to find an uncommon one. All others were common and T6.
I don't understand how you're chaining t7 and 8s? I find that my chance of t7 or t8 is only when I enter uncommon or better wisps, and they're not super common. Is there a mechanic I'm missing to get higher tier mists?
@@EricN73158 my point is ,if lets say we gather for 2 hours daily with premium ,that would make 2.4m a day ... that would mean u have to spend a whole week just to repay premium ,,leaving 23 days which would make u 27.6m if we consider the daily two hours would bring u 2.4m each . now if we dont get premium u should be making around 0.8 an hour , meaning 1.6 daily ×30 that would make 24m a month ... which in my opinion is not worthwhile .with premium or without it. correct me im wrong but solo dungeons or actually just doing yellow zone faction flagging would make u more.

The math is slightly different. 50% premium bonus doesn't scale the gathering bonus. It just gives you an extra resource every 2 times you gather a node on average. Big Lips McGee ran on 165% gathering yield with pork pie and premium on most resources and 200% gathering yield on ore and skin due to gathering gear if not counting gathering bonuses from gathering mastery (which is ~10% for T6 and ~2% for T7-T8). Based off this alone, if you gather like Big Lips McGee without any bonuses to gathering yield, you earn 650k/hour, which means premium bonus is 325k/hour. So cutting off the premium bonus Big Lips McGee would earn approximately 955k/hour from gathering. Bringing Avalonian tools (+20% gathering yield means 130k/hour bonus) would give non-Premium player 1.085m/hour earnings from resources.

Care to share your strategy on to getting in to the higher tier zones? I would play the mist for hours and do something like 30-40 zones and not see a single t8 zone most of them are t6 for me. It’s why I quit the mist completely is the fact I can’t seem to get to the better zones.
Roam the mist until you find a higher tier which you might go threw 2 zones max and find a t7 or higher. Just keep searching for the last 5 mins. Don't just go into any. Keep searching. And sometimes, while people are leaving. the artifact mobs might spawn. But the best way to find higher tier mists is keep searching if you find a blue one. Remember the location without poping it and go back to it if you don't find purple or gold.

Gathering is where you should spend your learning points :D. I always level my gathering levels moment they hit 20%.

People will attack you if they know you can't escape
of course you would get attacked, but if you would run, there is only a slim chance of you dying

The gear does not cost that much, if you are gathering t8 and using the gear you should have the money to easy cover a loss.

Fishing in the mists will generally be bad. There are t6 black zones where you can fish much safer than the mists
