Bon Scott had charisma by the bucket full.
"Its a long way to shop if you want a sausage roll"...that's what we use to sing as kids when we heard this song
Pie "n" sausage roll
Bon Scott's bagpipes really made this song
The bag pipes.....three of them are Scottish born.....everybody loves Angus Young....he's a legend !
Eldest brother George, who was their producer, and who had the idea to add the bagpipes to this track, was also Scottish born, as was Stevie Young, who later replaced his uncle Malcolm, when he retired for health reasons.
There was a strong Scottish influence on the band for sure, you could say they they were a Scotstralian band.
Idk why everyone is bringing this song back, Very underrated song but only true AC/DC fans know Bon Scott’s AC/DC RIP to those AC/DC legends.
Love that you listen to the whole song before reacting to it and don’t stop it 10 times throughout.
Angus and Malcolm are originally from Scotland. So the pipes are appropriate. So funny though they're so young and really a bandstand type set lol.
Bon Scott was also born in Scotland.
There’s a reason he played bagpipes
The bagpipes were actually George Youngs' idea, and Bon used to be a drummer in a Scottish pipeband. He had practiced on a chanter, so knew the basics for playing the pipes, and was so enthusiastic about the idea he went to the closest music store and bought a set of bagpipes.
Yes, but,Bon Scott was also Scottish.
Best rock and roll song ever!!

The music video for "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)", was filmed on 23 February 1976 for the Australian music television program Countdown. It featured the band's members on the back of a flatbed truck travelling on Swanston Street in Melbourne, Australia.

The instrument you liked is the bagpipes.
I don't have the money, but I would visit Japan. I have a lot of friends who've been there, and they loved it.
I love those bagpipes sounds ac⚡dc rocks
Australia!
AC/DC, their back beat, just made you want to dance. Not like other heavy metal bands. So many others wanted you bang your head. AC/DC actually wanted you to get out of your seats and dance, even if not well.
I want to go to the Maldives. Been just about everywhere else I want to see. Please do more AC DC songs from back when Bon Scott (the singer and bagpipe player in this song) was performing. "Touch Too Much " and "Shot Down in Flames " are a couple of the best songs ever. Brian Johnson, their replacement singer, because Bon Scott died, is great, but a completely different vibe. 😘💕
Bagpipes!
That’s my granny in the green dress!!!
Embarrassing your granny partied and saw harder bands than he grand daughter now does
@@russe19642 ….Covid kept me from the party
AC/DC is a good journey to take..
Bagpipes
Bon Scott was playing " Bagpipes" 'bloodpipes" as the Scottish would call them! Original and very few if any add that instrument to a rock and roll beat it was a one-off for the band but the song was the first big hit. Off of high voltage I believe is the album. If you can find the video of AC DC City Park version of the very same song they are playing for people in the Streets of London at a very early age there are two versions of the video one is on a float type vehicle playing the song and the other is on Platforms in City square with people people gathering around not yet aware of who AC DC would become! It is quite entertaining to watch people who are in shock or just plain bewilderment
WTF are you talking about sport they played this song on the back of a flatbed truck in Melbourne and was NEVER done in pommy land in '76
Thailand
