Great look at the new hybrid Civic. Anyone thinking about getting this. Do it! As long as you don't need extra lumbar. We had a 2022 sport touring. Loved everything about it except the lack of the back support.
Mostly yes. I'm 62. Keeping a car I'm not comfortable in for more than a hour didn't make sense. It was unfortunate I was not able to determine that before I bought it. A mistake on my part for sure.
Driving myself nutty. I’m waiting on a Prius because I want the lumbar support, sleeker look etc and I’m used to a Toyota Prius. Pros of Honda are the normal height seats, leather steering wheel, and seats, smaller tires etc. I dislike the retro honeycomb dash board and excessive piano black plastic. I think the front end looks dated (similar to 2014 Corolla). I also have been told the Civic hybrid hatchback doesn’t have room for a spare tire which is probably the deal breaker for me.
Great video picking up mine tomorrow can't wait. Oct 31 it will be my Halloween car so cool Blue Lagoon Pearl Sport Touring Hybrid I am in Canada and these cars at least the one I am getting did not have a recall up here built in the Honda Alliston Ontario Plant.
Many new Civics are under a STOP SALE status by Honda because of the high-pressure fuel pump recall. I tried to buy a 2025 Civic Sport sedan last week a dealer had on the lot, and they wouldn't sell it to me because of this. I was pretty disappointed.
it's a really hard decision to decide between this and a Camry LE with option packages or XLE no option packages for the same price--Camry has spare tire and longer range if you have a steel bladder or don't drink anything on roadtrips. Actually, Honda did not put a filter in the battery cooling vent like Toyota did so maybe Toyota still wins for longevity.
@@ChristianArce-gw4nt Interesting because dealership and online info states Honda hybrid battery is 8 yrs/100,000 miles. Maybe you negotiated for a longer warranty or they recently changed the policy.
@@truckercowboyed2638different size class but you can buy a Camry SE for the same price as the Sport Touring Hybrid so in regard to price they are similar.
Disagree, at the price point of touring hybrid, your better off getting a Accord hybrid Sport. Larger and more comfortable cabin and trunk and has same hybrid drive train with similar fuel economy.
At 6.2 t’s quicker than the majority of cars (average around 8 seconds in US for newer cars), and the only similar-sized/style cars that are quicker are cars that cost much more, such as $50K+ BMW 2 and 3 series. I just picked up my hatch sport touring after driving several similar alternatives. Coming from a BMW Z4 (and before that a 135i) that did 5.5 and 5.0 respectively, and it feels great thanks to 232lb ft of near-instant torque.

Did u get rid of it because of that?

Just secured mine today, picking it up in the morning. I’ll keep you guys updated, I could probably make a channel if you wanted?

They'll sell it to you, you'll just have to wait for the repairs to be done before they will.
Great and I consider buying this hybrid car.

Toyota’s hybrid is also said to be more reliable with the way it works. Plus 10 year battery warranty.
Few years ago my daughter told me that Japanese ran out of ideas to design vehicles and it really show on these Honda Civics
What is it supposed to look like?
Some prefer they focus on quality over looks.

What kind of warranty does the hybrid batteries have on this Honda Civic. I believe Toyota’s is 10 years if I’m not mistaken.
I think it’s only 8 years.
10 years,I have one

Why do reviewers never mention spare tires. It would be the key differentiator with other cars I am comparing.
Does the civic come with a spare tyre?
No but 2025 camry does
The Camry is a different class the Corolla is the competitor to the Civic@@mrnarason

Does it have heated steering wheel?
I was gonna buyt it but didn’t realize it was for young people. Is there a car like this for someone who is 36?
You’re still a young people at 36 😂

yeah the toyota camry (which is a hybrid for all trims in 2025). about the same price too if you get the SE trim.
I am 46, I bought the blue one with a spoiler.... Be bold
@@RetroTechX 😮 I thought in our 40's we had to get an Accord or Camry because it is a grown up car. Is this not true?
“Easily pass slower drivers?” at 6.2 seconds 0 to 60, you ARE slower drivers! 😂
