My '69 Torino spent 25 years in a million pieces. It took me 8 years to put it back together, been driving it for about 8 years now. I'm a middle-aged white guy.
It's a shame to see classic cars. Disrespected like this.. if you ain't going to love it. Sell it to someone that will.. I hate seeing cars treated like this. I am 62. Been in classic cars, collectables, storage and consignment for 40 years..
It's a shame my brother in laws 69 roadrunner convertible is a table as well. You can barely even see the car anymore but at least it's inside the garage.
I have a small car collection going (about 10 vehicles) and I work SOOOO hard to keep them all tagged, insured, and driving. I do not want to end up being that type of old car guy.
OMG I wish I had the money to purchase that 63 Fairlane as I had one that was red with that 221 back in 1970 when I was in the Marines.I am the same age as this Gentleman
Tom I love your blog iam very much interested in the 63 Fairlane could you please send me the gentleman 's information to get in contact with him Thank's very much
Great collection. Love those Barracuda's. Back in the early seventies, my older brother owned two '67 Barracuda notchback's. I have been a Mopar fan for life. Those Ford's are so cool too!
I like the show and decided to edit my previous comment . I apologize to your camera people. Obviously they are fantastic at what they do and 15 % of it, i think is imaginative, and extremely well done. They really know how to use their tools, and are truly great at their job. So please do not fire them. Just please ask them to do the other 85% with scenery , cars , or buildings, but mostly cars , trucks , garage walls , and nice dogs perhaps , etc. I would urge them , to please try to comprehend and understand, that we the audience, love to view Tom briefly and each his many hosts ...briefly as well. A proper introduction of course, and please pay them as much respect and courtesy as they require, because they become a huge part of the story with this new important link. They can keep talking...but the cameras should be turning toward the BARN & the CARS , TRUCKS, TRACTORS , and how about BIKES ???? Consider that, whatever Tom and his host are talking about , is what we should be looking at through your camera and your eyes ! Hopefully an older masterpiece of engineering and beauty. Tom is a fine looking man and very knowledgeable on things that I'm happy to learn. Don't like to hear him say something disparaging like not bad 'for a Mopar ' , lol. I get it though. You don't know what you don't know, but there's a n awful lot of us Mopar folk. Dodge ...the Magnificent and amazing Dodge brothers, their history with their many historic partnerships & amalgamations , tend to be fascinating and exciting to hear. Tom's a Ford man , so I shall learn about Fords, Jags, Fiats, Datsuns , MG, Triumphs, etc, etc. but he should do himself a huge favor, too. Learn more about the magnificence of Dodge. Afterall, he's like a teacher and are we not his students ???? And, Attention to at least identify any motorbikes would also be tremendously appreciated. For sale $$$??? So CAMERA MAN Or MAYBE EDITOR ??? PLEASE REMEMBER TO "POINT ZEE CAMERA " : UNDER THE HOODS. IN THE INTERIOR. ON THE SHIFTER. PEDALS. OH SO SLOWLY ALL ACROSS THE DASH. ON THE TIRES AND THE WHEELS . FRONT GRILL AND BUMPERS . REAR TAIL LIGHTS, BUMPER, EXHAUST TIPS ... TRUNK LID . Admittedly, these items are not always accessible or available, but please, show us what we want to really see if and whenever possible. And seeing "454" zoomed in on 3 times , that was twice too many. Sorry I'm not saying this nasty, all friendly. . Get motivated. Show some hustle. Get us what we need to see ! 3 Cheers for best future efforts !!! Thanks Very Much for allowing me to rant. I'm too old to do anything else. Cheers and God Bless All ! (PS : Please be ready by simply believing , in God's Son, Jesus Christ . I am personally convinced, that He will be returning very, very soon) If I am good enough to get to heaven by believing, you'll have no problem either!
its ridiculous, each and every episode, guy in his late 50's early 60'ies gets asked what his intension is with the car sitting under 20 years of trash, stuff and dirt--- " im gonna restore her an git'er back to life an on the road..." yea, shure buddy, shure...🫤
🔍🏎💎 Starting the day with Barn Find Hunter is an absolute thrill! Tom's expertise and passion for uncovering hidden gems make each episode a treasure hunt. It's fascinating to see the variety of classic vehicles he discovers, like the Ford F100, Plymouth Barracuda, and 1963 Ford Fairlane. Can't wait to see what he uncovers next! Thanks for the morning adventure, Tom! 😊👍
I gotta say, Personally, it infuriates me when someone covers their classic cars with garbage, fills them with garbage, and treats them like garbage. Maybe its because after 20-50 years of this kind of treatment, my customers bring them to me and say "can you fix this". Cover your car, lift it off its suspension, and drain the gasoline. Show that you care.
🔎🚗🌅 There's something truly captivating about starting the day with Barn Find Hunter. Thanks to Tom, we get to embark on exciting journeys in search of hidden automotive treasures. It's like a thrilling treasure hunt unfolding before our eyes! 😊 The Ford F100 Short Bed, the Plymouth Barracuda with an astounding 367K miles, and the timeless 1963 Ford Fairlane featured in this video are just a glimpse of the remarkable finds awaiting us. Let's dive into the world of classic cars and see what stories they have to tell! 🏆🔍
Nothing is more frustrating than to do a great barn. Find in here I’m restoring it or I’m gonna do this and you know nothing will ever happen to it. My dream is I’m gonna boss 429 to 427 cover but I don’t think that’s gonna happen either.
I’m talking to a guy he has a 69 mustang and it’s only got 400 miles on it. He won’t sell it he said I’m letting my cousin have it for 2500 I told him it’s at least worth 15000 he said no I’m letting my cousin have it
I'm sorry, but when I see vehicles in a barn, with that much junk stored around and on top of the vehicle, chances are, it will never see the light of day again.!
Guys like this are all alike. The always say they're going to restore their vehicles that they've been stupid enough to let them sit for decades, rotting away. Then they have people come over to look at the cars while he tells his tales. Sick man.
If your wife wrecks your car THREE times - it's time to get rid of her ! My brothers ex-wife wrecked (totaled) his Oldsmobile 442. I don't remember all the details of the car, but it was some sort of special limited edition - that had very low production numbers. His wife was an alcoholic and had virtually no common sense. She also burned down his house !
🚗🔍🔎 Starting the day with Barn Find Hunter is an exhilarating way to kick off your morning! Tom's passion for uncovering hidden automotive gems is contagious, and it's always exciting to see what treasures he discovers. The Ford F100, Plymouth Barracuda, and 1963 Ford Fairlane featured in this episode are true testaments to the allure of classic cars and their rich histories. Thanks, Tom, for bringing us along on these amazing journeys! 😊
just picked up a 1964 F100 for the wife. Drove to Davenport, Iowa to grab the Ol lady. Body is absolutely perfect. This truck is rust free. All the rockers, columns, wheel wells, door jams and floorboards are mint. 78,000 original miles. Four on the floor, slant v6.
I would not mind that Ford Fairlane, but my heart is in love with that 1966 Ford F-100. Reason being is that truck is an almost identical twin for my 1965 Ford F-100. Only thing it needs to be identical is to be a step side, and to have a 240 inline six. And is the kind of truck, I’d commit murder just to pay for. I so wish I had never sold that 1965 Ford F-100, and was sick the day I did sale it. I cried the day that detective paid me for that truck, and drove off with it.
If you have to apologise before opening the garage door then you must feel ashamed of never cleaning up. It's such a shame that there are these lovely machines gathering dust and used as a temporary skip. In one weekend, he could clear away most of his junk and at least see his vehicles. Cheers Tom. Love your vids.👍
Got a 66 short bed myself with an 87 5.0 and has 414,000 miles . My everyday workhorse. Paid $500.00 put over $43,000 in it 19years ago along with a 427FE. Did an engine swap. 7miles to the gallon was killing me!💸
🇺🇸👍 you are right there are people who love the 62-63 221 V8 Fairlane and I am one of them. I have had 4 of them but sadly not one today, maybe someday.
I have a 2002 Subaru WRX. In 2012 I bent a rod pushing way to much boost. I parked it in the garage. Got married, bought a house, got divorced and raised a kid. In 2019 I got a replacement JDM engine and slowly started buying replacement parts. Been watching these vids and realized I am one of these guys. Plan to get my baby back on the road by end of summer. Want to get her repainted over the winter. She used to be my daily but now I will pass her on to my son.
I live in Stanly County, There are a lot of old cars around here. I had a 1968 barracuda, and there is a couple more around. If you want to see more random old cars come out east of charlotte
More excellent stuff, Tom. I have always thought that it was very cool that Ford's first thin wall cast V-8 was the same size as their first flathead V-8 and was released exactly 30 years later.
Hey Tom, why don't you ever head down to Spartanburg, Sc? It has a lot of NASCAR history, including Bud Moore's old garage, and a lot of motor heads! Happy hunting!
The man I worked for had a 66 . Ford never could get it to jumping out of park so my dad made him a string to fit on gear shift and it stayed that for years .
No wonder that marriage didn't last 😂😂😂
That’s what I said!
Not even bondo could fix it 🥲
yeah, 3 times is a red flag. Bye bye, birdie!
Lol
2nd fender rub would have been a 2 week notice lol
😂😂😂
So much garbage in there that just needs to be let go.
My intention is to restore it and get it back on the road, said EVERY middle aged white guy.
Yeah, none of these will every see the road again. At least with the current owner.
My '69 Torino spent 25 years in a million pieces. It took me 8 years to put it back together, been driving it for about 8 years now. I'm a middle-aged white guy.
It could happen! Odds are against it though!
I’ll get it on the road. It’s already been sitting for 30 years. It’s not coming out until his kids sell that building.
It's a shame to see classic cars. Disrespected like this.. if you ain't going to love it. Sell it to someone that will.. I hate seeing cars treated like this. I am 62. Been in classic cars, collectables, storage and consignment for 40 years..
Seems like all those vehicles just turned into big "shelves" to put stuff on.
It's a shame my brother in laws 69 roadrunner convertible is a table as well. You can barely even see the car anymore but at least it's inside the garage.
This man will never touch any of these cars to restore
Nothing better than watch Barn Find Hunter first thing in the morning thanks Tom. 😊
I agree Doug!
Funny how life gets in the way, sometimes even death....
Like every other old car guy the "I'm gonna restore it some day" will turn into, "estate sale barn find". 🙄
I have a small car collection going (about 10 vehicles) and I work SOOOO hard to keep them all tagged, insured, and driving. I do not want to end up being that type of old car guy.
Good intentions and Dreams are Free 🤔... He saved it from being avocado 🥑 green appliances 😉👍🤞
Modern day construction truck is 75,000k plus and drives like a Cadillac with leather seats!!
Do me wrong once, shame on you. Twice shame on me. Wreck my car 3x at Christmas, pack your bags lady!!!
The 300 in-line 6 is the best engine ever made….
In what way? There are certainly longer lasting, more powerful engines. Those were really underpowered, but nice and simple and reliable.
@@EstrogenGhoul Internet hyperbole.
When is Tom coming to Connecticut?? He needs to see an incredible amc and hudson yard
Thanks Tom for what you do but this week’s video a little bit weak in content . ❤
Why even show us cars we can't see? Waste of time
OMG I wish I had the money to purchase that 63 Fairlane as I had one that was red with that 221 back in 1970 when I was in the Marines.I am the same age as this Gentleman
I had a 70 f100. 3 on the tree. Miss it .
Tom I love your blog iam very much interested in the 63 Fairlane could you please send me the gentleman 's information to get in contact with him Thank's very much
My Slant 6 Dodge D100 takes exception to your statement ;)
The Y Block was never a 352. The largest displacement was 312 cubic inches. The 352 was a member of the FE series along with the later 390 and 428.
Id spray him down with a hose after an insult like that too..
I didn't realize these videos were always filmed in my neck of the woods. I've got a friend that would make for a great episode of this.
They don't ALWAYS film in North Carolina. If you paid attention - - Tom said they film there ONCE a year.....try to stay on topic......
I’m a Brit, so I have no knowledge of most of the cars you feature, but I love these shows. Such a variety of cars, and most of them new to me.
and once again ... another car owner that will never ever get those cars restored !
Love a slick F100
Tom you are one of the few I don't skip thru the video. You do a great job. 😁👍
3:03 Sears brand tire, wow! Thanks for the video, very cool.
Some amazing finds still out there to be had!😅🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Yes there is!!!!

Yep boomer that bought them all up stopped others from owning stuff and then let them rust into dust under piles of junk.

Old man sounded like Forest Gump, loved to hear it

He will NEVER finish all these cars, sell some cheap to an enthusiast and use the money to restore one car, don't be a dog in a manger
A real working man's truck is a long bed, 8 foot box.
Most wouldn't be able to park a long bed!!😂
That's why the shorties are double the price. Very rare. Most we the long beds.
I'm sorry, but when I see vehicles in a barn, with that much junk stored around and on top of the vehicle, chances are, it will never see the light of day again.!
Life ALWAYS goes by too quickly for true car guys(even then, our brain tells us we can do it but the old body puts on the brakes!😢) 👍
THESE SHOWS NEED TO BE LONGER! I HATE TO SEE THEM END!
Guys like this are all alike. The always say they're going to restore their vehicles that they've been stupid enough to let them sit for decades, rotting away. Then they have people come over to look at the cars while he tells his tales. Sick man.
Please can the Hagerty promotion be removed from the video. It's getting rather annoying.
I really wonder if this guy will ever do anything with any of these cars except for eventually sell them.
If your wife wrecks your car THREE times - it's time to get rid of her ! My brothers ex-wife wrecked (totaled) his Oldsmobile 442. I don't remember all the details of the car, but it was

What a great show Barn Find Hunter is! Tom you have the right touch for these videos. I wish they would post more often.

There's certainly an alure, but none of those vehicles will ever get done. For as long as they've sat there collecting dust and dirt, ....
I you played hide and seek there nobody would ever be found!
what a great truck.
Never know what's in your own backyard🤓
The lightening bolt image on the hood emblem denotes a inline six engine
Can't be the original engine in the Barracuda.
Nice collection 😎

10.52 looks like small fins. ‘62?

naaa gonna fix it one day
what a waste
Love these videos! Keep it coming fellahs!
So much stuff!!! That the family is going to have to deal with. There is a years work just cleaning out that place.
I’ll buy the truck?
Greatest Show on RUclips!!!
Love those old Fords !!!!!
Thanks for posting! Need to make your way over to the Raleigh / Durham area, know of a number of places here.
If you have to apologise before opening the garage door then you must feel ashamed of never cleaning up.

Привет из России очень нравится ваш канал и ваше искусство. А в Америке как относятся к дизельным моторам?
Hagerty my cousin has a 70 challenger been sitting for over 25 years. We live in winterville NC.
Short beds are not rare in Mexico. That was the only body style sold for decades.
Nebo North Carolina over here.
More excellent stuff, Tom. I have always thought that it was very cool that Ford's first thin wall cast V-8 was the same size as their first flathead V-8 and was released exactly 30 years later.
On this episode of hoarders
as a raleigh resident, i’ll leave my studebaker in the driveway in hopes that tom drops by :)
I love the 63 can't find them in my area much any more, I would love to know how much he is asking for it.
He needs to just sell. He'll never fix them. I got cancer last year and sold 13 cars. Still have too many but only kept what I thought I could finish.
👏👏👏👏👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Fords big 6 is legendary for a reason. They last forever.....unless you revved it too high, they do not like high rpm.
This presenter has a lovely style; obviously knows loads but doesn’t come across as arrogant. 👍
Hey Tom, why don't you ever head down to Spartanburg, Sc? It has a lot of NASCAR history, including Bud Moore's old garage, and a lot of motor heads! Happy hunting!
I was born in 1966 and would LOVE to find a 66 Ford pick up!
Cool cars!!
The man I worked for had a 66 . Ford never could get it to jumping out of park so my dad made him a string to fit on gear shift and it stayed that for years .
I don't see any cars lol
You really couldn't ask for a nicer guy than Tom to present these vids !
New subscriber
Great episode. Exactly what we want.. Dirt, boxes, rusty tools and cool cars and trucks.
Thank you, Tom. You always find some really interesting vehicles to share with us!
Another great video. And I like the new logo. Greetings again from 70 miles north of you. Happy hunting!
I loved the logo so much, I went to the website and ordered a cap.
Great finds
Great video Tom. I'm always impressed at these lost gems you find.😉
Great video
Huwhite huweel
Nice nice
That Fairlane in it's original color would be a sweetheart.
Nice
