Wow, that's so cool! I'm really surprised I had shots in here that you haven't seen, since you live near there. Since you have the opportunity, doing a GTA tour of real life sites is definitely worth it. That was the best vacation of my life!
What a pleasant surprise. I’m so glad you did this. Can’t think of a more fitting person. I’m going to come back & watch this tonight with the wife. Thanks!
I'm truly honored, thank you! I had so much fun making this video, trying to get the scenes in the game to match where we were in real life. I was thinking of that while we were there too, trying to plan ahead in my mind for where I could record the same scene in the game. Even more than a year later, I'm still blown away by how much the game looks like these real places. It absolutely astounds me.
That sticky bomb joke got me, you are so so cool. I laughed so hard. Yeah honestly, every other shot of the skyline made me wondering if there was an oppressor flying around the corner. And the Dubsta spotting got me hyped up so much. To be honest I think you must have felt pretty helpless while walking on foot when you cant just spawn your buzzard nearby. I mean, as somebody who has just obliterated people in sparrow, and used miniguns and what not, It must feel really weird not being able to those things in these streets. I enjoyed as much as you did I guess. This video is pure bliss for GTA fans. The way you must have remembered your viewers on every other sight you enjoyed and included us in this experience and went through the hassle of filming it instead of just enjoying the moment. That truly tells a lot about you as a person. I can just talk hours and hours honestly. Massive love and respect. Yes, we did enjoy the ride.
Wow isn't a big enough word. I'm so moved by your lovely comment. Thank you so much!! Honestly, half of the fun of going there was the planning and recording video knowing how I would replicate it in the game. It was without a doubt the most memorable week of my life. My husband plays GTA too, so he helped me tremendously. The best part is, I get to relive that week over and over again with this video!
38:04 Wow, chrome? They clearly repainted that and are selling it from their vehicle warehouse 😊 Edit: In all seriousness though this was one heck of an amazing project! It must have taken an unbelievable amount of research and planning to capture all this great footage and edit it together. You really made me appreciate both Los Angeles and Los Santos even more.
I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment earlier, but thank you so much!!! It was a wonderful trip, and such a blast to try to match the real life video footage with game footage in the same places.
What an amazing video, it's almost scary how accurate Rockstar were when it came to recreating these point of interests. I always liked the western side of Los Santos in the game but watching the "Lombank" and that whole Vespucci area was outstanding. Almost a perfect copy. I hope you enjoyed the trip, sure looked like fun!
Thanks so much! We really did have a great time. It was like a dream! I can't wait to go back. I agree, walking around Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Venice was just mind-blowing to me because they looked so much like GTA. Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset Blvd. felt so incredibly familiar.
I wonder if in the future you could visit the "Paleto Bay" real life town replica, that place is my guilty pleasure in the game. Would be curious to see how accurate Rockstar were with that aswell. It's where I keep my MC /Clubhouse & Yacht, away from the city mess, almost like a vacation part of the map. Might not be the most efficient way of making money in the game due to sell distances but as a mostly solo player I rarely use them anyway, & nowadays I just buy properties based on my favorite locations (Del Perro/Vespucci/Paleto) rather than efficiency, your videos always were great when it came to that Anyway, sorry for the long comment and distraction I tend to ramble on sometimes when I'm excited about things I love. I'm glad that you had a great time, I wish I could visit LA someday soon aswell, only places in the US i've been to were NY (had some family there) and Miami (holiday) over 20 years ago.
@@-XStream237- Honestly, I wanted to visit "Paleto Bay" but I found that most of the real parts of it are scattered around various places, not really consolidated in one spot. I believe some of it is in Malibu, and some of it is about an hour away in Filmore, CA, the other parts are near Big Sur which is 5 hours away. I don't get the impression there's one spot that is like Paleto Bay in real life, but rather Paleto Bay just has a lot of real life buildings from several places in it.
@@Champlette2 you don’t get enough credits for your videos and research. Your my go to person when I’m shopping for best properties or business locations etc.
I watched this whole video in it's entirety. I been playing GTA for over 8 months. I searched for real life GTA footage but this video was the best out of all of them. I'm not sure if my age makes a difference in how I play the game. (I'm older than most players) but I am "a stop and smell the roses" kinda player. So this video tour was right up my alley! Thanks!
That's so awesome! I'm a "stop and smell the roses" kind of player too. This trip was the vacation of a lifetime for me. I really wanted to share the experience with all of you to sorta' bring you along with me. It really did feel like we were walking around in LS!!
Oh he did! Everywhere we went, people would ask if they could pet him. It was funny because they always asked how old he was too. I guess it's because his face is a bit white.
Thank you so much for this video! It seems like it took a lot of work and logistics to make! When I wasn't smiling at something I recognized, I was shocked as to how accurately Rockstar reproduced things!
It was quite a lot of work, but worth every minute. During all of the editing and such, it was like reliving the trip over and over again. It's the same thing now getting to chat with everyone about it too. Such a blast!!
While I'm over here STRUGGLING to find a chrome Dubsta in the game, Champlette managed to find one IN REAL LIFE!!!! Are you kidding me!!? Gotta say this is a very well put together video! The only other person I can think of who did a "real life GTA map" video was The Professional and his New York/Liberty City vids. Really interesting content if you played GTA 4. I have a question for you Champlette Two from the playstation network. Will you be making an updated "how I make my money" guide in the future? I watched your first one made years ago and it's a little... outdated. Not trying to rile you up! Please forgive me!! However now that there's so much more content available for players to do to like Cayo Perico, Acid Labs, Payphone hits, Bunker spare part shipments, CEO mixed goods, Agency and Nightclub passive safe income, Lupe passive crate collecting, and street dealers just to name some. Unfortunately Import/Export doesn't seem to be the go to solo business anymore. But at least some older businesses are still worth doing like the bunker and nightclub. It would be very interesting to see your current money grinding routine in an all new updated guide video! But at the end of the day it's completely up to you Champlette, you're the KAPITAN of this channel!!! I'm just glad you're still with us after all these years! You have made so much helpful content for players all around the world and you are one of the kindest human beings to ever exist! You are Dearly Beloved! Please don't ever go! Unfortunately a good friend of ours has been off the radar for almost 3 years. No videos, no posts, no comments, no... nothing! Hopefully he's okay! One day TheMissingSock will be found!!!....one day. Anyway hope you, the hubby, and the pupper are doing well! Still can't believe you saw a Dubsta!!! What's next!? A real life Vigilante blasting cars off a cliff!!?
Yes, I miss The Missing Sock too. I enjoyed his videos. I hope he's ok and just moved on to something else. I hadn't planned on making another video about my money making strategy. I don't really grind like I used to, mostly because I have more money than I could spend in the game, but also because I don't have as much time to play lately. My real life has become very busy these days, so I only play for an hour or two a week now. I don't really have a solid money making strategy with the newer GTA businesses and heists. As for the Dubsta, are you using a Dubsta2 (gold or chrome or black matte) for bait when you're searing for one? You'll never find one without using another Dubsta2 to spawn them. You can call Ms. Baker to get a matte black one, or you can become a Road Captain in someone else's MC club to request one too. You can also steal one during a bunker sale, but that's more complicated. You can't keep the black matte ones, but you can use them as bait for a little while until you find your own chrome or gold one that you can keep. I'm guessing you've probably already seen my Dubsta hunting tips video.
I do own a Dubsta2, but trying to spawn more using it is such a pain. I remember way back when the PS4/Xbox One versions of GTA online first came out, you could find Chrome/Gold Dubstas driving around Vinewood hills. Similar to how the Sentinel XS can be seen driving around next to Eclipse Towers. Just another unnecessary thing Rockstar decided to patch. Don't get me started with harmless clothing glitches! I fully understand that you don't have the time to make more content at the moment. Hopefully at some point later down the line we get to see more of your well made and helpful guides. I sure learned a lot from them and I'm sure they helped many players as well. Even your just for fun vids are very entertaining! Let's hope that some day there will be a new season of the Champlette2 channel flushed with new awesome videos and maybe just maybe, the return of the Champlette Live Stream featuring Spudco and the gang!
BRO! It's so great to see you!! I've really missed you! Thanks for the note. You're still on PS4, right? It would be great to hang out sometime, but we moved to PS5 a while back. Are you planning to come to PS5? We need to get the crew together to do the Pac Standard heist again! Those were such great times. Please give my love to your family!
Wow. Remarkable catalogue of GTA locations. I had no idea how much real detail was recreated in the game. I've never been to anywhere in America before but this all looked so familiar. This feels sad in a way, because I always praised Rockstar for their creativity - but I guess I need to praise their attention to detail instead! Thank you so much for this video, this was brilliant context. I hope you managed to steal that chrome Dubsta and kick the Duggans off the Hollywood sign in the end too!
You have no idea how much I wanted that Dubsta!!! I even jogged down the block after it to watch it drive away. Actually, you can still praise Rockstar for their creativity as well as their attention to detail. Seeing the city in person, it's so much bigger than it appears in GTA, so Rockstar had to do some remarkably creative repositioning of buildings, streets, and landmarks to make them directionally correct (mostly) but fit it all into a much smaller space. That took some serious out-of-the-box thinking to pull that off.
Thank you so much! We had such a great time on this trip, and it was almost like reliving it again when I put this video together. It was amazing to see how much the GTA footage looked like the same real life places we had just visited.
I love the attention to detail that you put into these videos. Even on the interior tours, you pay attention to the little details & things that most other YTers completely disregard or miss. I'm glad you take the extra time to make it that much better. I hope y'all had a nice trip/vacation though. Great video.
Your videos are amazing!!! You nailed it! I can't believe how you could capture the views for everyone who plays the game. I'm happy that people like exist in this world
I'm so honored... what an incredibly kind thing to say! Thank you very much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the virtual trip. It was amazing and I was so excited to share it with all of you.
You always take your time and give as much detail as possible, which makes for great videos. Thank you for doing this for all of us who can't visit LA.
*OMG Champlette, this was an amazing video!! I am originally from L.A. (now living in South TX) and have been homesick. Watching this made me sooo happy! One place in particular touched my heart ... "Mirror Park". I grew up in Echo Park and it made me excited to see a piece of HOME in your video. Where I lived, the HOLLYWOOD letters and part of the Griffith Park Observatory was visible from the street corner and also from the back of the apartment. But as the years passed, trees grew and it eventually blocked a lot of our view. I have been playing GTA V for a few years now and I have always been amazed at how accurate the game is to the real deal. I cannot wait to go back home someday (although it is very different now) and show my husband around my HOME. He gets a kick out of me being an L.A. girl, ha ha! Thanks for this video, Champlette
*P.S. Lol, loved your GTA V commentary and OMG, you've found a CHROME DUBSTA!!! You've certainly got the GTA V experience, minus the trolling, griefing and wanted stars!!*
That's so cool!!! I wouldn't blame you for being homesick. I'm homesick to go back there and I've never even lived there!! It was just a dream trip and we had the most amazing time. I hope you get to take your husband and show him the amazing place you're from!
That was amazing and a little eerie too. Hopefully, one day you can go to Miami (aka Vice City) if Gta 6 ever comes out and compare them. Did you see anything not in GTA 5 that you wished was?
I do wish our Santa Monica hotel, "The Shore Hotel", had been included in GTA. It's such a cool building in real life. Then again, I think it was built after the game was already created. There are those odd little art displays on the beach at the Salton Sea that I wish were at the Alamo Sea. Also, "Slab City" in real life is a much more interesting and quirky place than "Stab City" (the Lost MC trailer park) is. Yes, it really was quite eerie how familiar everything was when we were there. I wasn't expecting that at all!
@@Champlette2 Thank you I really enjoyed it. While you were there did you hear anyone say "You're my dude right" or "See you at the knitting circle" always funny🤣
Wow !! i can only imagine how much effort u put in this video. I really enjoyed the side by side shots of gta and irl. Its so incredible to see how much los santos is similar to LA. Rockstar pays great attention to detail. Hope u had a nice time.
❤ thank you so much for all the videos..I just found you today after my husband and I bought the night club..we were confused on what to do..I know I'll have to watch that one again lol..loved the tour of Los Angeles vs Los Santos and your journey around So.California very cool to see 💞
@@Champlette2these comments you’re getting are so cool. Actually brings tears to my eyes knowing that a husband & wife are getting to experience & learn about GTA together. The greatest memories I have playing GTA are because my wife was with me when they happened. I remember the excitement it brought me when sharing all my properties, businesses & vehicles with my wife for the first time & her finally understanding then why GTA is special to me. Then having her pick some of the styles & property locations & customize vehicles even though it’s not what I would choose, but me loving those cars & properties the most because it’s what she liked the most. Everything is just better when you have someone to share it with. Doesn’t matter what it is. I hope everyone gets to experience this in life. This is why I think GTA is underrated because no one really talks about this aspect of the game.
@@JC-li8kk I could not agree more! It's all his fault that I got hooked on GTA. I used to (and still do!) love Burnout Paradise. I loved how the cars looked and how they handled. My Hubby was playing GTA and talked me into driving one of the cars and that was it. Here I am 9 years later, still playing. So happy to hear you and your wife get to enjoy this together too!! Thanks for sharing!
@@Champlette2 it still cracks me up every time I hear you talk about your love for burnout paradise lol. It has not come up in any other conversation I’ve had in the last 12 years. My wife was really into this mobile game called “traffic racer.” Did you ever get into Red Dead Online?
@@JC-li8kk Yeah, I still love to go have a great stunt run in Burnout Paradise. It's quite satisfying to land a 4x barrel roll off a split ramp on Read Lane.... ah the memories.... No, my husband plays Red Dead 2, but mostly story mode and very little online. I can't handle the hunting of animals and the attacks by the animals. Just a little too unsettling for me.
Oh it was definitely my pleasure. That trip was the best vacation of my life, and making this video was the most fun I ever had of all of my videos too. Thanks for watching!
I'm honestly surprised that some of the details in the game are replicated well-done, must commend to the Rockstar Games team for their effort to fully immerse the real life Los Santos (Los Angeles). Been a while I've seen this channel during the good ol days of tips regarding the grinding business in GTA Online. Glad you caught and edit all of this for your strong community, it ain't much it's fun to see it again when I checked my notifications and glad to see you pop up. 😅
I'm truly honored, thank you! The plans were years in the making. We first thought we were going to make this trip in early 2019, but then we moved and didn't have a chance to do it. Then we planned it in 2020, and COVID broke out in So. Cal. literally as we were planning to go there. We were going to reschedule for fall of '21 but then I started a new job, so at long last, we FINALLY got to do this in '22. It was totally worth the wait!
I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩 and always want to go to America 🇺🇸 even live in USA but i would be lost 😂 thinking the map of GTA V is 100% accurate because I've been playing the game like 9 years since release i was like 7 years old back when the game released and GTA V map was like so huge i was so amazed but then 3 months after playing it I've known the map of GTA V feels like I've live in Los Angeles for long time 😌 good times. Also great video and thanks for showing the tour of Los Angeles my favorite place was Santa Monica ( Vespucci Beach) the gym is cool too. But again thanks
Thank you very much for watching! You might be surprised, you would likely not be lost at all. The GTA Map may not be exact, but it's similar enough that you can at least find your way around in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Venice pretty well.
Hey, that was such a cool video. Congrats on the trip btw and ngl, that "duggun" near the Hollywood sign and chrome G-Wagon making a cameo caught me off guard.
Yes indeed, totally caught us off guard too. We also saw delivery drones in Hollywood. I still can't believe I saw that either. It was like a little shopping cart with a built-in cooler and it was just driving itself down Hollywood Blvd. while carefully dodging pedestrians and obstacles. Quite an amazing site.
Love that you had a great time, and thanks for your comparison videos, they really helped me choose what to buy for apartment, office, hangar, bunker, and such, thanks so much
Glad to have you back! I'll let the video play muted since I don't have the time to watch it now, but I'll save it for later! Thank you for bringing us this interesting video :D
Sometimes I rewatch it because I needed it too. :) That truly was the most amazing vacation of my life. Can't wait to do it all again and see some places we missed.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, Champlette. You're the best creator for GTA tours in the real world, too! I have tried to look around a few places on Google Street View in the past without much success, so this was very welcome. I'm absolutely amazed at the number of places you were able to include in this, it's very well put together. Glad you enjoyed your trip!
I highly recommend doing the Google Maps walking tour at 99311 Sea View Dr in Mecca, CA. The footage from Google Maps was from 2008 when the motel was still standing (from Sandy Shores). That was such a bummer that it's been torn down now. I really wanted to see it. As you walk in the map toward 99199 Sea View Drive (the yacht club), you can also see what it looked like before it was renovated, and it looks nearly exactly like it does in GTA!! It's only when you get directly in front of it that the Google footage is newer and you can see the renovated building. That was fun!!
That's so cool!! I was hoping this video would bring you all along for the experience. It's not something everyone will get the chance to do, so I really enjoyed sharing it with all of you.
Your channel’s the best! I always come here whenever I’m deciding to buy a new property based off of the location, view and interior because you’re the best person for it. Your channel’s so handy and you have videos on absolutely everything I could possibly need. Thank you for being so thorough and adding time stamps in your videos. Hope you enjoyed your holiday in LA or even Los Santos!😄😂
This was so cool!! Thank you so much for putting this together. Definitely got that same feeling of it being so familiar but just a little different. I didn't realise so many buildings in the game were a real life thing!
Yes, I didn't either until I started looking into it. Even simple little stores that are just background in the game are actually real places. Lamp posts, fences, and architectural designs on buildings were matched in the game with so much detail!!
@@Champlette2 There's sooo much detail! Also I loved that the area of the city where there were lots of jewellery stores in real life was reflected in game, just gives even more of a feel of the place.
Now we are finally able to explore irl through your real estate agent perspective all those interiors and decorations we spend our hard earned money on 😁 Hope you're doing well!
So cool, I never knew it was modeled so closely, I love GTA online but the players in Public sessions are animals so I just play the Cayo perico hiest and buy pretty things LOL MEATPOPSIKEL
I totally agree. I don't play in public sessions at all. You can do everything in an invite only or closed friend session now, so that's the only way I play.
I've lived here all my life and I've passed by a lot of this, but never stopped to really look at much. Maybe it feels too touristy for a local haha. I did take a picture of the GTA buildings when going downtown for jury duty.
That graphics mod is turning your game super realistic, bit weird that you didn't take the chance to sell your bunker tho, it looked like a fairly peaceful session.
Thank you very much! Unfortunately, real life doesn't leave me much time for gaming or videos lately but hopefully I'll be able to post a new video if new properties are released in GTA.
"Since you know, we don't have an oppressor MK2 in real life"😂 "I was really tempted to throw a sticky bомb on the doors but.. probably wouldn't be a good idea"🤣 Chrome Dubsta 2 was a great catch haha I know I'll have ptsd just walking there cause I was spawn trapped on many of those streets many many times😂 Thank you for documenting this for all of us GTA nerds from all around the world👍🙏
HA HA! We still can't believe we saw a chrome Dubsta. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I have quite literally never been more surprised in my whole life.
@@Champlette2 I believe you, I'd be stoked too to see a chrome Dubsta 2 IN LA😅I stole and sold probably over a thousand of these myself, watching one of your videos about the spawn points helped too btw😁La Mesa LS Customs worked best for me.
Thanks so much!! It was hard to keep it down to a manageable number of stops while we were there. We had to skip a lot of places I'd really like to see, so we'll probably try to go back again and see some of what we missed.
@@Champlette2 really like ya got to take the trip it's really Kool I love it makes the game more real when ya see people can go to were we all play in a game that is real life places you can see and touch thanks for sharing you life experience really great !!!
This was an awesome video and great to see how detailed the developers were versus how things have changed in a decade since the game was put together. 4:58 I need the driver side turn signal lens (between headlight and grille) off this Lincoln if you ever go back lololololol
If I can share one most important thing, don't put it off! It took us nearly 4 years to make this trip and I can't even describe how much we enjoyed it. I can't wait to do it again!! And yes I was quite serious about both of those hotels. The beds were very comfortable (and that says a lot coming from me because most beds give me a back ache) and the food was outstanding at both of them. The traffic noise was surprisingly a bit loud at the Westin (which is odd since we were 27 floors up, but there were a fair number of sirens all night) but it was very affordable and a really nice room. The Shore Hotel was outstanding, but it does have a lot of fees. I don't regret staying there, though. It was totally worth it.
Beautiful video. This "gta online" runs better than my ps4. Something interesting about Los Angeles and some cities on USA is that the names are on Spanish.
oh my, i enjoy and really love watching this. is this gta 6? it looks so real to me, haha. i know it's really tired when you reached 20k+ steps a day, but keep doing what you love, champlette. watching 50+ minutes video is easy. making this video? no, that's not easy. thank you for this awesome video. 🥰
I can't even begin to describe how much fun this trip was. Places we had never been were so familiar to us. I had a blast imagining how I would replicate the video I was recording in real life when I got back home to play GTA. Trying to get the real life footage and the game footage to match up was challenging, but great fun. I remember getting the timing right on the drive through the tunnel up by the Observatory was a particularly special moment because I was surprised how well that turned out.
@@Champlette2 yes, that deja vu feeling. it feels like "been there but never been there". but for us or any youtube viewers who watching and also playing gta online, it feels like you're visiting our hometown. weird because it's not even our hometown, and we've never been there either. 😆
It really was. It was creepy because I literally felt like I was actually in GTA, except I was certainly in a friends-only session because nobody was trying to kill me. ;)
Awesome 🤩 .. Very much awesome .. And i love the Element, that the LosAngelesCam-Move is the same than the LosSantos-Cam-Move at the same time in one Screen. .. It's really one of the best comparisons between LA and LS. It's not only like: I found some nice here or there. It's quite more a detailed Documentary-Chanel! .. Thx! I have to say it again: Awesome! 😉
What a great video. Really interesting, beautifully shot and I learned a bunch of new things too! Did have to chuckle at that giant Saints Row billboard on Venice Beach 😂
If you have the opportunity to make a trip like this, I highly (HIGHLY!) recommend it. I've had a few great vacations in my life to San Diego, London/Leeds/Dover, and New York City, but this trip to L.A. to see the GTA sites was probably the best of them all. I'll never forget it. It's been a little over a year now since we went, and I still frequently think about how amazing it was to see these sites in real life. If you go, be sure to make time to check out the Salton Sea. I was surreal seeing how different life is there, compared to Los Angeles only about 2 hours away, or even Palm Springs less than an hour away. The whole Salton Sea area is almost like visiting another planet.
You could always do videos on some of the new vehicles and if they are worth the high prices? I never really see much on the new vehicles. I have used many of your videos on finding things like just the other day, all of the playing cards. With your video, I ran right through them pretty fast.

Always beautiful to see GTAV/O places in real life. Thx for the video. I agree with you about Arcadius, I love that building too. No pictures of the old Vinewood Casino and Racetrack? Those are among my top favorite buildings. Also it seems the Pier 400 building, the Doc Forgery in Elysian Island and Devin's Hangar have a real life counterpart but no one visit LA for those places obviously.
We didn't make it out to Inglewood where the casino it. We had so much to see and do in such a short time that some very difficult cuts had to be made. I'm hoping we'll get another chance to see some of the places we missed.

38:04 Wow, chrome? They clearly repainted that and are selling it from their vehicle warehouse 😊
Edit: In all seriousness though this was one heck of an amazing project!
Might not be the most efficient way of making money in the game due to sell distances but as a mostly solo player I rarely use them anyway, & nowadays I just buy properties based on my favorite locations (Del Perro/Vespucci/Paleto) rather than efficiency, your videos always were great when it came to that
Anyway, sorry for the long comment and distraction I tend to ramble on sometimes when I'm excited about things I love.
This is the best video I’ve seen put together of GTA 5 in real life. Thanks for making the trip for us.
Thank you very much! I tried to "bring you all along" for the ride as best as I could.
@@Champlette2 you don’t get enough credits for your videos and research. Your my go to person when I’m shopping for best properties or business locations etc.
This was so much fun... so cool you got a chrome Dubsta spawn haha!
I still can't believe that actually happened!!
This video is such a pleasant surprise. What fun seeing all the real sites the game was inspired by. Thanks for this!
You're welcome, and thanks for coming along for the ride!
Your GTA real estate showings are legendary 🤙
I'm so honored, thank you very much!
This was a nice treat. Thanks for sharing. I hope your dog had a great time too.
Oh he did! Everywhere we went, people would ask if they could pet him. It was funny because they always asked how old he was too. I guess it's because his face is a bit white.
How have I not seen this video yet?
I'm just glad you watched it! Thanks!
Very nice vid it was worth every min! Loved it
Thank you very much! I must say, I enjoyed every minute of it too! :)
So happy for you! You talked about this for so long! Glad you made it out there!❤
I enjoyed your video of real life locations good work 👍
Thanks so much!
Love this so much! So relaxing and interesting ❤
Thank you so much! We had such a great time on this trip, and it was almost like reliving it again when I put this video together. It was amazing to see how much the GTA footage looked like the same real life places we had just visited.
love this
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I certainly had a blast making it!
Thank you for sharing this with us!! It’s amazing to see how good Rockstar truly did on a game that will forever be nostalgic to me. Thank you,
I love the attention to detail that you put into these videos. Even on the interior tours, you pay attention to the little details & things that most other YTers completely disregard or miss. I'm glad you take the extra time to make it that much better.
I hope y'all had a nice trip/vacation though. Great video.
Thanks so much!! That really means a lot to me.
Wow! Here’s a name I haven’t heard in years! Glad your back and still making content
I'm still around... just didn't have anything I really wanted to make a video about. Thanks for hanging in there with me!
You always take your time and give as much detail as possible, which makes for great videos. Thank you for doing this for all of us who can't visit LA.
Thank you very much! I really did want to share the experience with all of you. It was definitely the trip of a lifetime for me.
@@Andrew-ey4ti LOL! No, sadly we didn't. We were listening for that, for sure!
Wow !! i can only imagine how much effort u put in this video. I really enjoyed the side by side shots of gta and irl. Its so incredible to see how much los santos is similar to LA. Rockstar pays great attention to detail. Hope u had a nice time.
I had the time of my life! It was an amazing trip. I can't wait to go back and do it all again!
Wow This is so cool, great video
Thanks so much! We had such a great time on that trip, and it was a blast trying to match GTA footage with the real life footage.
Thank you for sharing that Champlette !
Happy to do it, and thank you for watching!

Thank you for coming along with me for the tour! We certainly had an amazing trip.
Worth the walk 👍 and drive 🙂
Thanks for watching!!
So good, thanks for doing this!
Oh it was definitely my pleasure. That trip was the best vacation of my life, and making this video was the most fun I ever had of all of my videos too. Thanks for watching!
You did a fantastic job showing how the real life L.A compared to los santos I hope you had a great time in los angeles
I had such a great time that I can't wait to go back!! Thanks for watching!
This is amazing work! I have always wondered what the original locations looked like. This is really fun to see! It's like GTA has come to life :)
It felt that way in person too. I felt like I was literally walking through the game!
I really appreciate that. I have a great bunch of friends on my Discord channel, and in here and I considered myself very lucky for that.
Having lived in LA for several years, you really put in a lot of miles and hard work to cover all this. Fantastic job!
Thank you for the time you devoted into making this, really appreciated!
I won't lie, it was many, many hours of work, but it was worth every minute of it. Thanks for watching!
You need to host a tour and take fans around these places. I'd totally go.
Now there's a thought that's going to fester. ;)
@@Champlette2 Drones, damn. We're in the future now. I'm in my 20's and already feel like a boomer struggling to catch up lol.
You and me both. Can't get used to this stuff.
Your back!!
I never left! I just needed something to make a video about. I think this will work. ;)
Love that you had a great time, and thanks for your comparison videos, they really helped me choose what to buy for apartment, office, hangar, bunker, and such, thanks so much
That means a lot to me, thank you!!! I always hope those videos are helpful to other players.
Glad to have you back!
I'll let the video play muted since I don't have the time to watch it now, but I'll save it for later!
Thank you for bringing us this interesting video :D
You're so welcome, and thanks for watching!
Thank you. I needed this 😊
Sometimes I rewatch it because I needed it too. :) That truly was the most amazing vacation of my life. Can't wait to do it all again and see some places we missed.
I'm so happy for you guys, that you got to go on this trip. It must have felt like a pilgrimage!
It was wild because it really was like going back home, although I've never lived in L.A. :)
Thank you very much for the share!
Thank you so much for watching!! I'm very grateful!
What an awesome video - Thank you 💝
Thank you for watching! It was quite a long video. ;)
That was fun!!
what an amazing video idea i've been waiting for this!!! much love to u and great work!!
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun to make this, for sure.
Wow thanks so much for all the effort and time, I live in Ireland and would love to see this irl, probably closest I'll ever get to it 💕😎🔥
That's so cool!!
Wow, I'm blown away. Thank you for such a kind and generous comment! I'm so honored.
Tremendously authentic!
Great video, sis!! Wish you Happy new year...
Thank you very much! All the best to you in 2023 too!
What an amazing video. As always, yours are the best champlette 👍
Great to see you again! Thanks so much!!
Now we are finally able to explore irl through your real estate agent perspective all those interiors and decorations we spend our hard earned money on 😁 Hope you're doing well!
It's great to see you again! I'm fantastic. I'm still reliving this trip over and over and loving every minute of it.
This was a great video
Thank you very much! I certainly had a blast filming it, and editing it!
This AH-MAZING! Best video showing the gta locations hands down!
Thank you very much!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I've lived here all my life and I've passed by a lot of this, but never stopped to really look at much. Maybe it feels too touristy for a local haha. I did take a picture of the GTA buildings when going downtown for jury duty.
LOL! So true. I've never visited the touristy places near where I've lived either!
That graphics mod is turning your game super realistic, bit weird that you didn't take the chance to sell your bunker tho, it looked like a fairly peaceful session.
HA HA! So true. I'm sure the people in that session would have taken out the black Dubstas for me. ;)
I would love to do that trip! Thanks for sharing. Great to see another video from you.
Thanks for hanging in there with me! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, just didn't have anything I felt the need to post until we took this trip.
This was awesome to watch. Hope you upload soon!
Thank you very much! Unfortunately, real life doesn't leave me much time for gaming or videos lately but hopefully I'll be able to post a new video if new properties are released in GTA.
@@Champlette2 yeah of course! Whatever you choose I’ll definitely watch!

Great trip really liked the video and the places it's like taken a trip in time loved the video and all the content you covered in it !!!
Thanks so much!! It was hard to keep it down to a manageable number of stops while we were there. We had to skip a lot of places I'd really like to see, so we'll probably try to go back again and see some of what we missed.

I came straight from your Discord and well, this is what I call perfect timing. 😆
Thanks bunches! This video took me 6 weeks to complete, plus 4 years of planning... ha ha!!
This was an awesome video and great to see how detailed the developers were versus how things have changed in a decade since the game was put together.
4:58 I need the driver side turn signal lens (between headlight and grille) off this Lincoln if you ever go back lololololol
HA HA!! You bet! I am hoping we'll be going back there so I'll be sure to look out for that for ya!
Thank you for sharing the real life view of GTA! This is on my bucket list of things to do. Thanks for the advice about the hotels.
Gracias Champlette, disfruté cada minuto. Deseo que estés muy bien. Hasta pronto. 🤗🤗🤗
Muchas gracias!!
I could see the edge of the Del Pero apartment building right before the promenade in Santa Monica
OH MY GOSH! You're right! We didn't even recognize that while we were there. Great catch!!
Beautiful video. This "gta online" runs better than my ps4. Something interesting about Los Angeles and some cities on USA is that the names are on Spanish.
HA HA! I feel your pain. I've been there.
Awesome! Thanks for the tour, surreal how much they really nailed it.
It truly is beyond impressive. So many little details they got right!
oh my, i enjoy and really love watching this. is this gta 6? it looks so real to me, haha. i know it's really tired when you reached 20k+ steps a day, but keep doing what you love, champlette. watching 50+ minutes video is easy. making this video? no, that's not easy. thank you for this awesome video.
omg the similarity between Del Perro Pier and Santa Monica Pier is unreal
It really was. It was creepy because I literally felt like I was actually in GTA, except I was certainly in a friends-only session because nobody was trying to kill me. ;)
Awesome 🤩 .. Very much awesome .. And i love the Element, that the LosAngelesCam-Move is the same than the LosSantos-Cam-Move at the same time in one Screen. .. It's really one of the best comparisons between LA and LS. It's not only like: I found some nice here or there. It's quite more a detailed Documentary-Chanel! .. Thx! I have to say it again: Awesome! 😉
Huge thanks!! I was hoping to make it feel as much as I could like being in both places (LA and LS) at once.
What a great video. Really interesting, beautifully shot and I learned a bunch of new things too! Did have to chuckle at that giant Saints Row billboard on Venice Beach 😂
OH yeah! Thank you for the kind words. It really was an amazing trip!
@@Champlette2 I've always wanted to visit LA (I'm in UK) but never quite managed it. I say this every year, but next year's definitely the one! 🤞🏻
Thanks for sharing this…excellent job! I’ve missed your videos…hope to see more with the next DLC.
Thanks so much! Yeah, it has been a while since we've gotten a good property DLC.
I watch tons of your videos and you have been a great help to me since I was a new player just 6 months ago..I miss your updates.
Thank you so very much! I haven't had any good property content to make videos about in quite a long time, unfortunately.
You could always do videos on some of the new vehicles and if they are worth the high prices? I never really see much on the new vehicles.
I have used many of your videos on finding things like just the other day, all of the playing cards. With your video, I ran right through them pretty fast.
@@thecarguy2470 Sadly I'm no car expert. There are so many RUclipsrs out there who are way more knowledgeable about the cars than I am. If you haven't found him yet, check out Broughy1322. He is THE BEST when it comes to GTA cars. His analysis will blow you away.
Welcome back 😄
Hey Doc! You know me, I never really left. ;)
Super video-excursion in Los Santos. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I'm hoping we'll get another chance to see some of the places we missed.
so cool, so many landmarks.. hope to visit one day especially santa monica.
I highly recommend it. We did this just over a year ago, and I still can't stop thinking about what a great time we had. I felt like a kid at Disney World! It was such a great trip that I hope we get to do it again.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching!
38:00 so funny.
Lovely video. Really enjoyed it.
We really couldn't believe our eyes! Still can't! An actual chrome Dubsta... sure wasn't expecting that! Thanks for watching!
Hey! Loved your video and cool facts about all the places..
Happy Gaming!!
Thank you very much!
How did this take so long for me to see this lol. Watched the whole thing good video as always❤
Thanks so much! It was the trip of a lifetime and making the video was an awesome way to relive it.
I absolutely loved this! Thank you 😁
That's awesome! Thanks for watching!
Wow this video is great champlette thankyou 😮 to see Sandy Shores real life was amazing 😮 thankyou so much this is a great video, so interesting! 🙏🏻
Thanks bunches! Bombay Beach was incredibly fascinating. So tragic but resilient too. I want to go back and see more of the Salton Sea for sure.
@@Champlette2 yes there’s definitely something beautiful but tragic about that area at the same time, in game recently it’s become my favourite area to ride around and explore, so happy the recent update is concentrating on this area, very under used in game 😎
@@capgrimwood6813 There are some fascinating videos on RUclips about the Salton Sea area, if you're interested. I've watched a bunch of them and I've learned a lot. To think of what a resort it was back in the day and now it's a beautiful but extremely toxic lake. The poverty in Bombay Beach and the other towns around there is just unspeakable. I have a hard time wrapping my head around it all.
@@Champlette2 thanks for this info champlette, I will definitely search and watch ! 😎
This is an amazing video thank you champ
Thanks so much for watching!
I had this thought yesterday! Wish someone would take some photos/video of iconic or even little spots with character IRL to compare.
I had seen some photo comparisons on RUclips between the game and real life, but the video samples I found weren't very comprehensive. I tried to make this trip for 4 years before we finally got to do it, so I was really excited to share this video with all of you by the time I got it all done.
@@Champlette2 Thank you! :)
nice video, tho i am a little disappointed, that you didnt land with a plane on the US Bank Tower
I totally agree! I wanted to parachute off it too!
Did you happen to see any little green men? Just kidding.... You guys have a safe trip! I look forward to more.
HA HA! No little green men, but Dubstas literally everywhere.
Thanks! Really enjoyed that one
Thanks for watching! I really enjoyed making that one too!!
This is great! Thanks so much.
I appreciate you watching it! Thanks bunches!!
