The fact the the Rockstar team went to this level of effort to mirror real life pixel for pixel, makes me wonder how many details GTA 6 will have
I hope that gta 6 is not gonna be a let down
@@Armandosparadais69 It won't
@@Armandosparadais69 it won;t and never will be. Rockstar is the only company who knows the way to make open breathing worlds

“Get off my property or I’m calling the cops” - The Los Angeles experience
did they actually say it or it was edited?
They said it
@Brix Ryan Toquero high 👋
he probably had alot of people come by and said the same thing so yea he probably pissed about that
Typical American people! Get of my property or al call the cops, Probably had a gun too
No wonder GTA6 is taking a decade to complete. It's all about the detail!
best underrated comment ever😊
hopefully
@@cyanescens3929 Yeah CJ
Probably,I expect GTA VI to be as detailed as rdr 2 and and the graphics is goin to be next gen
1 or 2 more years 😅

I think there are two reasons:
1. Because its fun to make an enviroment as immersive as possible, even when its a buttload of work
2. for the people that actually pick up on these details (which you can be sure about because human can become quite obsessive over.... anything, really)
subconscious mind picks up details in auto-mode...really powerful
"Get off my property or I'm calling cops" :D Must have been real Michael 😂

Nah, the real michael would tell him to f*ck off and probably shoot a missile on him

Great video, watched the whole thing, i want to visit these places one day like america / la in general
Make sure to buy heavy armor before arriving!
Visit a city in the south first. You’d enjoy Myrtle Beach, SC, better than LA for sure
you can find trevor's house xD

There is reasons why GTA V last 10 years still being played by most gamers. This is one of them. Their dedication in making games is pure passion. Can't wait for GTA VI(ce City). Hope they take their time to create another masterpiece
Hell, I am 22 and I am going to play it for the first time cuz I finally have a console to play video games on.
I played it on the PS3 back in the day, PS4 up to recently and now on my gaming laptop.
Yet R* cant fix the coding to cut 70% loading time GTA online. Done by some gamer then paid him 10k.
Vice city is Miami isn't it?
@@kxi nope, it was just the online loads with a single core only not multi threaded.

Артём? Какого..????

Wow, the advance arrangement of this route and the correspondence between the game and the real scene require a lot of editing and time. It's amazing, well done.
This is one of the best researched “in real life” videos I’ve seen on YT that didn’t come from a multi-million dollar budget cable show (even compared to that it’s much better!). Many props for going out and finding all this. I’ve been stuck in Palm Springs for the past two years and even played through GTA V in that time and didn’t even make the connection to the tram. As a software engineer myself, it gives me a headache just thinking about how much work they have to put into this level of detail (and that’s not even on the software side), game development is so much more involved than movies or tv could ever be now! That’s why we have to wait a decade between releases now. I sure hope they don’t forget about my favorite game series ever - Red Dead Redemption, just because GTA is a gigantic cash-cow (well deserved though). Rockstar is amazing.
Sometime it does worry me how stuck you can get into a world like this. I can remember 20 something years ago playing GTA 3 when I was 16 and after a few nights of wreaking havoc, I’d go out driving and be tempted to start running over people on the sidewalk. Lol
Wow, Andrew, storytelling here is just amazing. You guys rock! The part with lambo - switching between real-life and game footage is so engaging. Keep up the great work. I know how hard it is to produce high quality content and spend enormous amount of hours at one video, but in long term perspective - it is so wroth it! Wishing you guys all best!
Thank you!!

Imagine living in Michaels house in real life and playing the game without knowning anything about it..
Like I can't imagine how scared and amazed I'd be lmaoo
fr
Plot twist: you end up behaving like Michael
You are Michael
@@JK.3 you'll probably be jimmy if you're playing a game
I don't live there anymore, but I grew up in SoCal. The details are so tiny yet so impactful, that the world of San Andreas feels like a real place, and that's why after 10 years, it's still a great game to play. It always feels like coming home to a friend, and it's these details that make that happen. It gives us a sense of familiarity and longing when we aren't there. I play other games but always find my way to GTA.
The next game is going to be a masterpiece as well. Just think about all the things they've learned from GTA V and will be able to implement. I'm in no hurry, but I am anxious to see the new world waiting for us.
Imitating real life really helps immersion. That's one of the lowkey awesome things about GTA5. Not just replicating LA, but also the subtle details in the nps, from the variety of people to even the animals.
At 6:49 what the game calls Mount Chiliad is called Mount San Jacinto, located in Palm Springs. I actually visited the aerial tramway when I was on vacation in Southern California once and seeing it referenced in GTA V and in this video is awesome! The view from the top is spectacular of course but what’s really amazing is the climate difference between bottom and top. Mount San Jacinto is 10,000 feet tall, the tramway starts at a base elevation of 2,000 feet and ends at 8,000 feet. At the bottom it was 110 degrees, at the top 70 degrees. Just think about that for a minute! In the span of an altitude difference of 6,000 feet the temperature difference between bottom and top was 40 degrees! Amazing, isn’t it? Anyway, cool video. The little details are just awesome and amazing. No matter how many times you play it there’s always something new to be discovered, something you never really paid much attention to
The temperature difference was much appreciated at the top haha
I thought Mt. Chilliad was game version of Mt. Shasta in the northern part of California
Damn I actually didn't knew about that and I've been living next to MT San Jacinto my entire life
I live near that mountain
I thought it was my Shasta cause that’s what google said. In the game it’s in a forest and irl it’s in a forest as well
4:22 the guy was probably tired from ppl coming to his house asking that lmao
Ong 😂
1:20 "feels like even when you turn off the game the city still running" bro the same building been under construction for over 10 years
It’s murica, a pothole takes a year to even get the slightest bit of attention by the city
This and rdr2 have an incredible amount of detail focused on them and I wish that companies made more games like it. It’s really difficult to find more like it other than battlefield and it’s so sad

It’s literally games like GTA V and Marvel’s Spider-Man that makes the game feel more immersive with the smallest details. It feels like you’re actually touring LA and NYC from your home!
Same with the game The Division 2. The developers recreated D.C in a 1:1 scale mirroring the real city, but in the game's universe. Completely wild the unnoticed details devs put into these games.
seriously one of the most underrated channels out here, keep up the amazing work dude!

Okay after this I understand why GTA 6 is taking forever.
It will be shit we have had to much Mafia story lines we had a exotic vice cartel one the Hood one abd my gawd to much Liberty shitty.i like 6 to focous on terror ground backed by 2 super powers
@@ashleyoasis7948 Rockstar never disappoints.
@@adhambutsaif5589 it will be once again set in America with a Mafia story line what other stories can they do I think doing a character who has to do missions for both the CIA and KGB by a mujadeen player be better with rocket launchers missile batteries etc
@@ashleyoasis7948 Nah they can keep all that supernatural mess, they need to continue with the realism. It’s already a plethora of other supernatural games, literally every other game. We don’t want that.
@@JS-ix6hr the whole point you play a GTA game is becuse it’s supposed to be silly and cartoonish and you just run around a functioning society and just making a mess it’s almost a release for some ppl or just cool to just ride a tank.with multiple big open sand box environments that’s what made GTA well GTA.i domt like in V you simply punch someone and a cop comes shots you in one shot and ur dead to realistic I preferred the cop battles with CJ where you lasted longer on six stars than you did with 2 stars on V.
Great video as always man!
the level of detail is nothing short of amazing and i do really appreciate the effort.
Surprised you actually rang the guys doorbell for Michaels house.
The amount of effort and time you guys put into creating this video is quite inspiring.
I live just outside LA, and I have visited a lot of the places in the game. R* really poured their heart and soul into it and it really captures the reality of LA and what makes it great, and not so great. Its raw and real, and allows a lot of people who dont live here to experience it as if they were right here.
I love this video. I actually felt confused as I could not distinguish between the game and some of the footage when I first saw it. Kudos to you for uploading this.
As always the editing and storytelling is unparalleled! The algorithm will bless you one day soon, trust 🙌
This video really make me appreciate the hard work rockstar devs put into there games for us, I’m grateful for this
I wanted to suscribe again in return for the great production I just saw, congrats! You definitely deserve more followers
Hey man this is awesome, ive never been to LA so i have always been curious to know how everything in the GTA map compares to the real thing. Im sure alot of people including myself had no idea that R* truly went above and beyond on recreating everything, despite it being a scaled down version it is still impressive.

great work dudes.... hats off....
soo cool to see that some people have build a city from a game
Honestly. Rockstar's GTA entries from 3 onward really set the bar for me with respect to open world environments. The adds, the stores, the npc dialogue... hell the fucking GAME MANUAL back when they included them. All money.
By far the most impressive production I've came across on RUclips. As other mention, yes the expectation is VERY high on GTA 6 now. (Also very happy to see tale of us on that radio station, makes me wanna go and buy GTA 5 once again haha!)
