@@jansnauwaert1785 yes, what I meant was, it is not a mature brahms so, that's whats meant by 'voice' you can tell this is experimental stage, after enough composition and tinkering there are other pieces that sound more characteristic of his style of composition but what do I know I'm just some random classical musician on the internet who does this for a living. lol
@@hisky. sorry what I meant was, it's typical of early brahms writing, as an artist matures they come into their own style and 'find their voice' later on.

Great performance but not exactly brahms yet, he was a younger composer here and yet to find his voice.
