You are just unstoppable and such a great teacher I love you, Ellen, Ruth, Eden, secrets and one of my favorites is Ellen. Have you done some shows with you guys are my mentors and I can’t believe now you’re making fabric softener you’re just unstoppable and all the other soapers all they can rave about is how you design your essential oils your top-notch Way to go many blessings.
Thanks Susan, very lovely comment to read on a Saturday morning with my coffee. I love Ellen! I am not to familiar with Eden but when I get a chance I shall look her up. Much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
I remade this and it turned out perfect. The emulsifying wax is KEY. I also coloured it slightly,so I have a lovely peach colour 😊. I think depending on the fragrance 5% may be too much. But I still love it. THANKYOU for sharing. ❤❤❤
Great to hear, yes I mentioned 5% was to much, 2% seems to be working good, I am going to reduce to 1.5% next batch to see if that would be okay even 🙏🙏
@@DawnOrganics it didn’t work for me. I used Cetyl Stearyl alcohol and it has seperated. BUT I heated the water first then put it in and it dissolved straight away 😂😂😂. I really messed it up
@@DawnOrganics you are very welcome and very much appreciated. I learned a few days ago to put the sodium lactate in the soap batter not the lye solution and it’s been working something I never knew before. Have a very blessed day and year.
Hi George. Lots of great tips and info thanks! Just wondering why you decided to create a new formula? I make your citric acid/epsom salt formula and I love it. Will definitely give this one a go too. Hope you and your mum are doing well 🙃
Thank you kindly! That recipe is good for essential oils, or just plain vinegar with essential oils. However fragrance oils need to be emulsified so it doesn't stain the clothes . Thank you all is well here, hope all is good on your end also 🙏🙏🙏
@@DawnOrganics Oh righteo so if I don't use Fragrance oil then the other formula is ok to use (I use EOs in it). I do have a Clean Cotton fragrance that I really want to use for a fabric softener so this formula will be good for that then 😎
Thank you for taking the time to record your method, I did enjoy sitting through it and somehow missed how many wash loads (or rinse loads) that amount of FS would give for a full load standard washing machine (not HE). I want to try this because I too have sensitive skin and will not EVER use commercial FS or dryer sheets and prefer drying the clothes over a line. I was thinking 1/2 C to a non HE washer at full capacity?
Thanks for watching and commenting. I usually wait for a full load, and fill it up to the max line. You'll have to find the sweet spot for your machine and how much you're washing at the given time
You are so so clever George! Is there nothing you can’t do!! You are so clever!!! Xx
Thanks Cass, much appreciated 😊🙏

Has to be the type of emulsifying wax I used in video, I believe what you used is a co-emulsifier. More info in description
Thanks!
Very kind Susan, thanks so much!

Let me know how you go!
This looks like a recipe I would like to try. I like fresh smelling clothes.
