Actualy Rebuild of Evangelion is a manga canon because the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga series were published until 2013
End of EVANGELION was a filler because the manga itself was still published, the end of manga was in 2013 so probably REBUILD OF EVANGELION was a manga canon.
Just when I thought, this time around it would be a hopeful story with well rounded character arcs.

Yes changes have been made to the plot! I haven't watched 3.0 yet but apparently that's where things diverge significantly from End of Eva and the show
This is different, they took several episodes and redid them as a sort of mini-series. There are two more chapters to the entire story. I know "3.33 - You cannot redo" is already available. I don't know about 4.0 and have been searching online for a while.

I dont understand why saving rei ayanami triggered the third impact ?
I think to respond to Shinji's desire (saving Rei), Unit 01 awakened to its 1st phase during the battle against the 10th angel. Unit 01 successfully destroyed the angel's core (Which became a mix of Rei and the angel in Giant Rei shape), unit 01 then absorbed it into its core (Unit 01 may be a copy of Lilith/Fruit of knowledge, S^2 engine from the Angel/Fruit of Life and Rei/Lilith's soul. Which probably fullfilled the conditions to trigger Third Impact).
Then we got its 2nd phase during the its transformation into energy form, the cost of saving Rei is the older life forms of Earth.

Yes thats correct, but this movies are like a sequel (The world and story resets, but it becomes a new story)

I liked Asuka's red and orange suit (the one she wore when talking to Misato while in the elevator). In the fourth episode, she gets a white suit.
"Go on! Do this for yourself! Do it to make your wish come true!" - that speech should be in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 movie when MADDIE WACHOWSKI said that to sonic in his SUPER FORM against ROBOTNIK.
It would sounded in the end of the final trailer.
