You know what? I think Mass this Sunday captured my whole entire feelings about how important it is to be faithful in our faith. The theme this Sunday was ‘DO NOT BE AFRAID, for I am with you’. I have been afraid a lot - from starting this channel, to posting the content I want to post for fear of it being too ‘out there’ (as you all know I’m a bit over the top), and above all for using my creative outlet to double as a faith outlet. Sharing my faith. But in yesterday’s Gospel God assured me personally saying something to the effect - if you stand beside me in front of others, I will stand beside you in front of my Father in Heaven.
All this to say, do not be afraid to be YOU. To express your deepest convictions (of course in a kind loving way with no hate), to stand firm in your faith. For God will stand beside us and defend us until the end. Frankly, the hymn which best describes the message was sang yesterday called ‘Be not afraid’ and the lyrics are below:
