I feel like it's this innate french desire to set themselves apart from their western friends. Britain, America, modern Germany, they all kinda do the same things as each other. Both Politically and Engineering the French approach I've noticed has always been something close to "well if that's what they're doing how can we do it in a way that stands out". I wonder if it has to do with the French identity, the spirit of liberty and its opposition to conformity.
Where is the Nord 2501 (or Noratlas) ? Perhaps because it is not crazy ? So why the Rafale in the list , it’s very good but not crazy. Very strange video….

France, the mother of flight and planes. Long live France 🪖🇫🇷
13 years before the Wright brothers
France is also the mother of Bugatti Chiron I agree with you

there are some definitively un-crazy aircraft here. and Pou-du-Ciel is missing.
Why is Dassault Rafale qualified as "crazy"? (and not the other fighters from the same made).
Because she is at a higher level compared to other fighters
Nice video but I think you forgot the SE 210 Caravelle and the A380
Airbus are not only french aircraft, but european aircraft. But I agree, the Caravelle is missing, with many others
Very good and interesting, several of these aircraft were completely new to me.
Où sont les Caravelle, Mercure, Falcon, Mirage F1, 2000, Ouragan, Mystère II, IV, et B2, D520, DR 400, ULM Cosmos ?
