Her friend was amazing. She kept her cool and helped deliver that baby. In such a serious situation it's easy to panic. Obviously the mom panicking is normal but her friends reaction was cool and calm. She even saved the babys life by removing the cord from the babys throat. She's a hero

I’m 12, I know I shouldn’t being giving that information out but still. My friend is 11 and she’s pregnant.. I was so shocked, she was very confident and brave about it and she told her parents! Her parents bought her a test and it came out positive twice, I’m very happy for her but I’m worried she would get a illness or some sort of virus, she told me one day it was her dream to be a mom and I support her for her choice, but she never took in mind of how I would feel if he’s got sick, she is my best friend so my life would never be the same without her, I’m proud and worried but I hope it goes well.

I would think so too but my mom had me when she was 18 and she was thin and she never told anyone she was pregnant until two hours before she went into labor. When she arrived at the hospital they didn’t believe she was in labor cause she wasn’t showing but she was and I weighed 7 lbs 6 oz.

Every sine time they say "the baby was healthy" I get a huge smile and feel such relief and I'm just so happy for the family. Until then I'm always so nervous, despite the fact that I sont think I've ever actually seen an episode where something wasn't okay.

I totally feel this though. I knew I was pregnant but didn’t realize I was in labor for a whole day. All I had was back pain (back labor) and pelvic pain (which I assumed was from my baby dropping lower). I even worked an 8 hour shift at work and everything. To be fair though, my baby was 6 weeks early and back labor feels nothing like contractions.
Wife here .. that is literally how my labor went as well. Didn't work a shift but I went a whole day without realizing I was in labor. Then woke up at 4 am with intense labor pains every 4 minutes. I got to the hospital at 5:30 and had our boy in 10 minutes lol
My bub came at 34 weeks. I was driving when my water gushed. No contration. Not dialted, had to go through an emergency c-seaction to save him. That aaas 5 years ago

I think it’s more necessary when the mother has severe health issues (ie. cancer) or has factors that could effect the baby (ie. having a baby when you’re too old) but some people just like being extra safe 🤷♀️
Prenatal care isn’t always needed as long baby grows healthy moves a lot and u eat for the baby to get nutrients
It's because these shows don't like to present stories that go wrong. "I didn't know I was pregnant and lost the baby" doesn't make such a nice story. It happened to two of my friends though. It is probably more common than this. From what one of them told me, she would have mistaken it for a strong period if she didn't have medical training and decided to check.
