I work at the Mill at Indiana Harbor which is the former Inland steel and LTV companies. The Sykes and the Block are our ships and service us for limestone and ore. I been on the Sykes several times for dinner. When I was working the dock some of crew come would off her and I always BS with them and they would invite me onboard for a tour and a bite to eat. I can def say she is beautiful.
Thank You for sharing your story Bob! Very interesting, the Sykes is one of my favorites. I worked on Her at Bayship around 1996 for the Winter Layup. I spent over 25 years at the shipyards here in Sturgeon Bay. But only that winter at Bay Ship. Thank You for Watching!! I appreciate it!!
Thank You Jeff!! Glad You Enjoyed!! I do have a Broadcastify Channel You can listen to the boats as they come in or when they are leaving or any other time. Its called Door County Marine Traffic. www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/37460. Thank You for Watching!!
