I love having you walk through the differences with the Gingers! I’ve made flared versions of the Gingers and changed the pockets but I love that these are higher waist. (I think my favourite fit is actually the Morgans.)
I would LOVE to take a class on how to make my own jeans! Your jeans look amazing on you! I pretty much have the same figure as you (but I'm only 5' 3"). I generally wear high waist skinny jeans (RTW). I think I could wear a straight leg jean and feel comfortable in them. Are the Bootcut version flared out or straight? Would I be able to make an adjustment to the pattern to make them straight leg or even slightly tapered? Also, I prefer the classic front pockets (positioned from the side edge). Would I need to purchase a different pattern for this look? Thanks for your help!
Hi there! The bootcut version does have a little bit of a flare. You could modify the pattern to bring in the leg shape or We have our Ginger Jean pattern which has more of a tapered leg. Both of these patterns are available with the purchase of the class. Hope this helps!
You can find the yardage requirements for Ginger here under the supplies tab closetcorepatterns.com/collections/sewing-patterns-all/products/ginger-skinny-jeans-pattern . While we don't currently have kits for our Ginger jeans, you can make your own by bundling the fabric & supplies on our sister brand Core Fabrics' website.
I cannot recommend the jeans class enough, guys! It was so unbelievably helpful.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 💛
Totally agree!! Heather is an amazing teacher. Love the jeans class. Worth every penny!!

Brilliant! Love the flare, definitely a great addition to any wardrobe.
Thank you! We can't agree more so many pairs of Judes have been made by the team 😊
Great, this will be my first pair and I love that you have a class and kits. Thanks
Enjoy & cannot wait to see your new pair of jeans!
Love!❤❤❤ (already purchased!)
Yay! Thank you so much for your support 💛
Love these! My favourite jeans 😊
I already own the jeans class, will I need to purchase again for these or will it be updated, how will that work?
Glad you like them! You do not need to purchase the class again you would just need to purchase the Jude Jean pattern. Hope that helps!
Order coming your way!
Purchased!!
Can't wait to see your version!
These are so super cute. I am wondering, can these can be made with non-stretch denim too?
Hi there! As the Jude Flares are designed with negative ease in mind I wouldn't recommend sewing up a pair in non-stretch denim.

@@closetcorepatterns Is there a kit for the Ginger? I tried to look it up and the link that determines how many yards you need is broken.
