This seems like magic to me. I saw you do the repair with my own eyes but it is nearly invisible once you have finished. You are extremely skilled!
Incredibly skillful! This crotch section is what always wears out on my favorite jeans... your technique is way better than the simple iron-on patches I typically use.
Those patches tend to fall off over time. The wearing, washing and drying make them come loose. I learned to sew the edges down to keep them on longer.
You can cut the butt of pants out undo the inside seems then cut out the butt get a piece of denim sew a new butt in by sewing over the removed part think like riding pants sew ininside seem . There use to be a ladies pant maker maybe Gloria Vanderbilt that had a rear seem like that. My daughter loved those patched jeans.

This was excellent, not only for the sewing technique, but because you had the forethought to try and match, as closely as possible, the denim fabric you used for the patches. Choosing repair fabric with similar colour, "wear pattern", and direction of the weave to the area needing repair in the article of clothing, is very important... for a repair to turn out this well. Bravo!

This is something I've been needing to learn how to do for a long time. Jeans are too expensive to just throw out if they get a hole. I'll have to try this!

The part that really amazed me was you sewed through three layers of denim without a thimble on your pushing finger. Your needle and thread seemed to just glide through. Just amazing. When I repaired my husband's jeans by hand, even with a thimble my fingers were hurting.

This is SUCH a good repair. I practically had my nose to the screen trying to make out the patch at the end 😄
I did as well, I put on my jewelers optivisor to help see up close and viewed the end twice. Amazing job.😁

Would this work with stretch jeans?
@@wtedwards3883 it might but you'd have to find a fabric made of the same fibers, preferably from the same pair of jeans (like the bottom for example) as well as match the direction of the weave perfectly in case the fabric stretches more in one direction

Incredible work! I am so impressed that you have mastered an extremely difficult (and unfortunate!) repair job and made it look easy. Better than that, it's almost completely unnoticeable, which, to me, is an incredible feat in repair work. I've had a favorite pair of Joe Jeans with this very issue sitting on my repair rack for (embarrassingly) a couple of years, at least. I'm so thrilled that I can finally repair them properly without them looking ridiculous in the end (here's hoping, at least). Hats off to you, friend! I am truly amazed at this beautiful work and grateful for your generosity in sharing this fix with us all. Reminds me of something my mom told me about the lean years after WWll (I was born on 1940). Work clothes was in hard to find (and so was money). She said patches had patches, as did those patches. I love silent videos!

Вот- вот. Где взять такую же ткань? Даже на одной вещи разные места в процессе носки становятся разных оттенков. Где то выгорает, вытирается краска.
Думаю, что не подойдет, если нет подходящего отрезка ткани, но могу добавить новую идею.Можно использовать отрез ткани любого цвета.После окончания работы я крашу штаны и меняю их цвет в таким образом Будет халяль, но я всегда храню миллионы джинсов, и иногда я делаю 40 джинсов этого типа в день, и у каждого из них есть кусок ткани, который в любом случае соответствует Спасибо, и я желаю вам успеха

This seems way better than what I've been doing.
I once watched a jean repair video and the guy stuck cloth inside and then did constant zig zag stiches in jean colored thread. I've done it, but the jeans often rip again where the old hole seams were. Definitely going to switch methods.

@@user-ob1cg8df1v который после стирки отвалится. Его нужно тоже пришивать. Да и вообще сложно подобрать нужный оттенок для заплатки.
@@user-ob1cg8df1v Материал называется "ДУБЛЕРИН" клеевой (точечный)-36%-полиэстер,64%-вискоз. Бывает как правило 2-х цветов - черный (серый) как в видео и белый. При покупке обращайте внимание на плотность "ДУБЛЕРИНА". Для джинсов подойдет более плотный, для мягких тканей менее плотный.
