Entrapment is when the person is coerced into committing the crime by the officer then the officer proceeding to cite/arrest the person for committing the crime. The type or color of a car does not coerce someone into committing a crime and is irrelevant.

I got pulled over by one of these 5 years ago. It was after working a night shift. I was driving my new 2015 F150 at a nice rate of speed. The officer was pacing me with ALL his lights off. He lit me up, I pulled over and he wrote me a ticket. He also though I was drinking too. I have to admit, those cars look cool, at least when you are not the one getting pulled over for speeding. Do not speed,,,,,especially at night.
I think the police enforcement deserves more than a Ford. We need like a high speed GT Mustang for them. Some of them deserves it bruh especially some of the cops I know. Not all cops are bad.

All the PDs where I live LOVE their darker cruisers with the muted lettering. I think a visible police presence is more of a deterrent. Also, it makes them easier to spot if you need to flag them down.
It is not the best of ideas. As a first responder there are a lot of times here in Florida I count on see ing the local police cars in the colors I know. It gives me confidence to know there are there for our protection on highway accidents . We only have one or 2 different colors here in the state and we always know that FPD is tan over black, but if I were having to guess police vehicles colors it would be awkward we have enough to worry about on a call

tbh....I was driving a rental in BI in 2010.....I lost control and hit head on into a huge tree, totalling the rental but survived ok.......however til this VERY DAY (in 2021) my shattered-then, but healed sorta now, foot....I still have balancing problems AND that airbag that deployed on me then, saved me BUT I still have trouble breathing hard at times.

This is BS, lights on the inside of the vehicle is illegal , this is obstruction of view just like if i was to put a big sticker on my front windshield. On top of that the only reason they would try to change the color of a patrol car is to deceive drivers into thinking that this jerk that tailing in your mirror is just another driver in a hurry to get somewhere, but in actuality this cop is trying to get you upset so you break the law so he can pull you over. I had this happen to me two nights ago, but this officer didn’t now i saw him, and as i pull behind a car that was driving 45 in 55 mph zone, the officer pulled in the lane to the left of me so he could block the lane just enough so i would have to speed to get around his vehicle and to past the car in front of me, but when I didn’t fall for his tricks, he gets all upset and yell on his bull horn “why are you tailgating the person in front of me “ and makes me pull over behind his car, and he starts yell again and he tells me next time go around the car. All i know is that this is entrapment and another reason people don’t get along with law enforcement especially ones that abuse there authority. Also being more “stealthy “ is entrapment too.

Some state’s laws don’t allow unmarked cars for traffic enforcement.
Also, they are covering their ass by making it publicly known that they are changing colors. That way no one can play the entrapment card
