Looks like fun, I just don't really dig the pixel art style. All backgrounds look really good and then then come the characters in pixel style. I wish there was a pack to make the characters also fit more with the new graphical style of the background.
Trying to buy this game now on Amazon. Its must be getting hard to get, cause mines will be shpped in January o.o
I keep getting wiped out easily, enemies are too over powdered early into the game. I guess need ton of grinding but great game
I like the idea of the Switch physical for collectability but I feel the ps5 version will look much cleaner. Thoughts?
I was doubting about getting it on switch/PS5, but after playing the demo on switch I have ordered it on PS5, It looked good on switch, but not great. Will try the demo on PS5 to compare them just for curiosity
It comes down to whether you want it on a portable or not. Switch version looks great, but ps5/pc will outdo it if you are a 60 fps snob.
The PS4/PS5 also have a physical version.
@@hedig1 I know but switch just has the collectable factor
I went with Switch version, I prefer playing in handheld while lying in bed over sitting on couch and cartridges over discs.
One of those random dumb things on look back on now, but it was cool he got to be stationed with his dad when I was a kid, but after 20 years of service I learned that would never really happen. No way you'd get to be a newly commissioned Ensign with your father as your CO. Lol.
I like Claude but I also want to have Dias so I'll go the Rena route
😭😭😭love it all, they went all in. Would have been nice if they included more character animation portraits, added more townspeople in the towns and included a port or remade blue sphere as it was bever realeased outside of japan.
This game remake is beautiful ❤ I do enjoy it so much ❤
Pre ordered 2 copies one to play the other to sell for a million dollars 30 Years from now
I bought the re-release of First Departure R but made some wrong choices without a guide, so I'm dropping it in favour of this instead. Looks really good!
Does this game run 4K on ps5. I played the demo and it's only 1080p.
Hey this looks like a great way to play the game.
$50? Oooohhhh Uhhhh, I'll wait.
The plot is pretty good, all things considered. Definitely wouldn't be a critique-point from my point of view.
Edit: Oh man.. why do people jump on that Bloody Armor-nonsense and give attention to that lunatic Vegh every time? Just.. don't.
Lol right vegh is cringe
Even better now with the added content with the recent update.
Just bought it and I like it so far
The first was simply amazing, it and finaly fantasy 8 are still the og of rpgs
I wasn’t interested in this game. But every review I watch gets me closer to just buying it.
Wish they would remake the sequel to this game in the same style. The direct sequel that went to gameboy, that is.
They seem to have an obsession with the stagger mechanic.
Imagine chrono trigger getting this level of remake. Heck SE should've done chrono cross justice with this level of graphics.
is there an auto battle option?
Oh yeah, it’s time for team alien. Opera, enerst, Leon, précis, and the needeans. Represent all the planets.
I would love to have as opinion on this from people (like me) that havent played the original and are not influenced by nostalgya factor. I played the demo and found combat to be Very boring so im not sure the reviews can be trusted.
Does this game have blind enemy battles? Or can you see the enemies before you run into them? Because I refuse to play any blind battles RPG.
When it comes to RPG's, it's always the turn based battle system that turns me off (except in Super Mario RPG. I liked that). Even in Chrono Trigger, the turn based battle system is what turned me away for a long time. But I did finally play that all the way through and loved it. And again, the battle system in THIS is making me feel hesitant.
Oh so there is a ng+. Ok I may pick this up. I got divine force but didn't plat is cuz I didn't want to go through the whole damn story and grind a second time.
