Oh my goodness. All of these keychains are ADORABLE. I am busting at the seams. My bank canceled my card because of a fraud alert and are sending a new one and it is taking forever to get here!!! I have some questions. Are you using smooth leather? Can you use textured leather? I made a keychain for my daughter just with her name on it. I followed the heat guid instructions and the leather is peeling up. It's only been a couple months. I'm not sure what I did wrong.🤔🤔
Hi, Lynn! Sorry about your card. :( When using heat transfer vinyl, smooth is best so the vinyl can lay flat - the finished product will last longer. But I have used textured before in a pinch.
It was hard for me to find designs to make my own, and here you are with designs and tutorials! I wanted to ask if you have every stitched the leather keychains? Someoneade me a leather manatee but she stitched it with her sewing machine. I was wondering if permanent vinyl might lift. I've had trouble with it pulling up on fabric. I can't wait to try this! Thanks for your help! 🎉

Permanent vinyl may lift up or get sticky at the edges over time, but heat transfer vinyl has it's drawbacks, too. I would say to give it a try and see how it goes!
