August 2, 2024. This just showed up on my feed and I'm glad it did. I started oil painting in 2022 and while looking for instruction and inspiration I found Dennis Sheehan on RUclips back then. I strive to emulate the methods and spirit of tonalism.
A lovely, sincere monologue by this inspiring man. I love the poetry in his paintings, and it is such a loss to many of us that all those helpful videos he posted on here have disappeared.
Why all the videos with Dennis Sheehan are no longer a thing on youtube? I had many of His tutorials saved on my playlist but for some unknown reasons, everything was deleted.

I love to watch him work but it seem like he's not uploading any videos anymore. It's a pity, he's a great teacher.
