From the second demo using a HDA I wonder if it’s possible for the PDG to trigger a callback function to run an internal randomized function instead of the graph itself randomizing things.
This is great thank you! While following along, the output file name is ignoring the '@wedgeindex' and is instead outputting 'wedgeindex'.fbx as part of the file name, could I be missing a step to activate this functionality? Any help appreciated!
Not sure if you are still stuck on this mate, but it looks like you are using the apostrophe rather than the back tick. (This is the one on the tilda key above tab on a western keyboard layout)

Couldn't you just plug in the global wedgeidx attribute into a vex script?

I was too, you can do Karma XPU instead as it's pretty fast.
