This plan fits a lot into a modest space. However, I would not ask my guests to dine while perched on stools at a counter, so I would enclosed the back porch as part of the kitchen, leaving room for a dining table and chairs as well as a pantry and/or storage closet. A back porch could be added across the rear of the house. As is, the house may appeal to many, and my suggestions are what would work for me.

The corner cut out of the master bedroom doesn't seem to make sense to me. Corners in an outside wall can each add up to 10k in building costs. Love the quality big shared bathroom. Sliding doors in high traffic areas like bathrooms don't work in my experience. Minor stuff. Your channel and ideas are the best in small house design on YT. Can't wait to be ready to build one of your plans.
Yes! The beauty of this little house blows my mind! The style is just breathtaking, inside and out - sophisticated and cozy. I think it is a high-end vacation house rather than a home, but I love it. The colors and all the wood and the porches and decks are just wonderful. As for suggestions, I won't address what it needs as a full-time home since I don't think it is one, but even as a vacation place, there is a functional issue. A pocket door can't be in a wall that has plumbing pipes in it. That is impossible in real life. To fix this, I suggest moving the bathroom vanity to where the toilet is now and moving the toilet on the other side of the shower, with its back against the wall that adjoins the bedroom. You could still have a high horizontal window above the vanity mirror, I think.
Good point. Plus, makes it so one doesn't look directly at the toilet from the living space and might also allow a bigger shower or shower/tub. However, there is also a pocket door to the bedroom, which could be an issue with plumbing put in that wall.
This is an adorable looking house, but the only drawback for me is that it only has one bathroom, which is not practical for a couple or even a single person. I mean, who wants to share their personal space with guests? Also, having only one bathroom when others in the household happens to have a stomach bug spells disaster. The hall bathroom between the two bedrooms, well it should have a tub shower combo. Also, a third bedroom with a master in-suite with a separate soaking tub and walk-in shower is also more desirable and also adds value to the resale of a home. Also, a nice large walkin pantry as well as more upper cabinets and counter space in a larger kitchen is preferable. Also a kitchen Iland is always a more desirable in a home for prep work. This kitchen is adorable, but where is one supposed to place all their groceries. Also, there is no placement for a deep freezer. This home does have a lovely welcoming porch area. Also, I love the metal roof. Overall, this is a darling looking house but does need some improvements to make it more practical.

I love the outside of this home. It doesn't work for me on the inside. There is no place for a dining table.
