How did you have him jump in the air?

this is a tough one to explain with words but I'll try my best. We grab a rig or something to stand the figure up in the position we want and then we take a picture of the figure being held up with the rig and another picture of the background with no figure or rig there. Then in editing software (which I use flipaclip for) you put the picture with the figure and rig on a higher layer and the background picture on a lower layer then edit the rig out of the first layer and wallah we got a floating Kirbo. if this doesn't make any sense please respond and I'll try to clear anything up.
