Sofia you are gorgeous. You look 23! I personally think you’ll look even more gorgeous in elegant clothing. You have that rich look already and this outfit you’re in is gorg on you! Cheers to this transition. I also am the biggest believer that your personal style changes when your inside changes so the fact you’re thinking this way is probably because you’re mentally and emotionally changing / growing! Our outer really reflects our inner!
The solo episodes are giving me life!!! Love every side of you and always been a fan. These solos are my favourite for sure though!! Keep it up girl. So inspiring
You couldn’t be more right. I have ALWAYS loved fashion and also have always thought I dressed for myself. I’ve been married for almost 25 years and my husband has always given me so much praise on my style . He passed away last month and since then i FULLY have realized that I ABSOLUTELY dressed FOR his gaze . Every time I begin to dress myself since he passed away … I have this feeling of “oh he won’t see me in this” , and it’s shocking to me and adds to my sadness / missing him . Anyway .. all of that to say , at 59 I have always thought I dressed for me and I don’t think I wld have ever realized differently unless this had happened.
@@ronnie-lynn thank you for hearing my story 💕 I cannot believe how thankful I am for social media right now also .. it’s almost like an extended “family” … again , something I never would have realized!
You can still be YOU but classy. Carrie dressed like a party-girl. It matched her personality. I believe there can be a happy medium between party-girl & conservative. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing, it can be both ❤
“High on Lunesta” took me OUT! Team online shopping no matter how many items of clothing don’t fit and I don’t return! Also team Carrie, she is the most relatable one on that show imo. I think when we enter a new decade it’s always time to re-assess our image. 30s are a great time to class up the wardrobe. When I entered my 40s I wanted to feel young again so got back into trendier looks. I completely agree with your view on dressing for the male gaze. We dress according to society standards, and who made those up? The same people that make billions off of women’s insecurities. To be honest I would be completely happy wearing Japanese traditional clothing or something cool like that 😅 but that ain’t acceptable where I live haha Great episode Sofia! ❤
You could start an online auction where your fans could bid on your discarded clothes! You could donate the proceeds to charity! There is so much misery in this world! I find it terrible when I see people who seem to be suffocating from their profile neurosis while others are fighting for their very survival every day!
Love your authentic solo self-disclosing episodes Sofia. You impress as courageously redefining a healthy strong self-identity with each and every vulnerable moment, so beautiful! Wardrobe changes are fun and confidence builders as you attract many potential new mates. Keep them coming.
I love the questions you are asking here. As a stylist these are the conversations I loved to have with clients. Here’s the thing though. I watched your last ep and have listened since 2020 so I am familiar with your journey from afar and I have to say…. Are we missing the point? I relate to your baggage and understand the knee jerk instinct to put men first EVEN when we know the lesson we are learning in this moment of growth is self prioritization, self comforting, self loving, and joy. Because we have already made every one else the purpose and focus of our life. You are breaking out of the people pleaser mindset and fashion is a major visual que way to support your healing. Dress to feel beautiful not be beautiful. Pretend you are taking your 10 year old self out with you wherever you are going. What would you wear with her and to make her think you look beautiful? What dress in your closet would you want to show off to her? What makes you feel beautiful and proud and shining brightly from within? I hope asking yourself these questions helps you along. This chapter is about giving yourself the love you needed. Not waiting and planning for someone else to give it to you. You are divinely inspired and unique in the creators eyes. The universe loves you more than you can remember.
This is my first time watching one of these podcasts and it’s truly unhinged😂 I have no idea what she’s even talking about half the time, yet I listened to the entire thing…
was lliterally wanting to comment how elegant u looked in ur dress & now ur mentioning it so i guess i might as well post it haha last video i had to comment on ur nails in the 1st 5 minutes as well looking good lately woman single era apparently looks great on you lolol :) love u girl🙏🙏🙏
Shopping in person is way better and fun and worth the time than online. (Not fast fashion though). you should do a podcast with Alison Bornstein or some other stylist who can help you out. if you like the way you look and it looks like YOU then it will attract the right guys. I love this topic of fashion, keep us updated!!!
you are so f'ing funny... "a minnie...... mouse...." you are pretty because of how in command you are rn + and even coachable by your own mother, that certainly you two and the history makes that challenging for every human. Good on you.
I try to change up my style every 5 years. As I’m approaching 60 I have been going back and forth between coastal grandma and hippie grunge ?? It just depends on how I’m feeling that day .
Carrie is hated because she's arrogant. Which is unattractive in both men and women. Confidence and charisma is attractive. Arrogance is not. There's definetely a fine line there.
So hard to watch this video. The amount of hair flipping and squirming 10:20 at this I actually forgot what the conversation was about. Because I have a restless brain so easily distracted. It was just one distraction after another, yanking up the dress, flipping the hair, crossing the legs, uncrossing the legs fixing the watch playing with the necklace. Man my OCD is anxiously angry today. Ugh. 😩 Now that I was able to get back on the topic, I actually only wear mini skirts in the winter. I live in Canada. It’s very cold in the winters, I wear them with the fleece tights, but in summer, I wear middies and maxi. ❤😂
I think ur over thinking this too much most pure just doing things for themselves. U live in a different world where u do stuff to get approval but most people are just normal and want to look good because they feel better about themselves to look cute . It’s not about guys or women or whatever.
There are probably millions of podcasts, not everyone needs to do one. Except YOU. Literally each episode is better than the next. ❤️
Your solo pods with video are the best

“Knitted baklavas” instead of balaclavas had me dying laughing 😂😂😂😂 love your pod!! So real
She’s soooo adorable! She reminds me so much of one of my daughters! 😂

I like Carrie’s wardrobe better haha I loved her shiny colorful skirts and dresses

i love the way you think
I love all things linen ! So comfortable, so beautiful! Of course you can never go wrong with a leather jacket either !

U worded this whole thing so well.
Orange is never wrong
She is so smart.
Awesome job Sofia with the the podcast drop alike for you
you are so f'ing funny... "a minnie...... mouse...."

This is crazy. I was literally picturing a rebrand for your opening in a sex and the city theme style a week ago
Maybe the strongest, unapologetic, intelligent, uber influencer on the planet. Hard stop.
You might need to broaden your horizons in terms of podcasts
@@tatum3240 this comment took me out😂
I'm so sorry but when you said coquette I thought you said cokehead🤣ily
I try to change up my style every 5 years. As I’m approaching 60 I have been going back and forth between coastal grandma and hippie grunge ?? It just depends on how I’m feeling that day .
Your legs are so beautiful though Sofia ! My legs have always been my best feature so I was a fan of minis allll the way through the 80s !
Sofia - work out. You would rival Carrie Bradshaw
cool idea. but you could still wear 'sexy' almost nothing. once in a while. you deserve it. But lovely decision overall! my opinion.
Old money is the goal !
Carrie is hated because she's arrogant. Which is unattractive in both men and women. Confidence and charisma is attractive. Arrogance is not. There's definetely a fine line there.
Carrie is soo charming and funny though
You look like the queen from HOD

Love you beautiful!
So does this mean you just saw me looking up your name on depop trying to find your account. Bc pls start one ❤
Charlotte dressed like a dork but got away with it cause she was so pretty.
You look amazing in that black dress, just because a girl dresses modesty doesn't mean that it's not sexy.
You should do a watch party with us and tour favorite episode of sex in the city! Or literally anything 🎉
Charlotte york is 25 pounds heavier than Carrie
You've been dressing like a 21 year old. Can't wait to see your fresh, mature looks. You are much more thoughtful than your previous image portrays.
Damn this channel been around for 2 years now and only has 75k subs
The good news this pod is almost dead, love that and btw where are your bewbs they are like a 12 year olds.
You seem to have something against her podcast and her in general yet you keep watching and commenting. I wonder why though 🤔

Carrie Bradshaw has a Rockin body.
You need to work out.
I disagree
