It really does work well. This is probably the smoothest direct drive I've heard or not heard. Even the motor coupler Is silent when it engages for the spin.
Yes, I am blessed with this machine Pete. Once again, I can't believe how it all just happened so quickly. It happened when I wasn't even looking for it
Thanks Matt. As I was telling Pete this machine just kind of fell into my lap when I wasn't even really looking for it. God's grace and being at the right place at the right time
I like it when it gets sudsy especially when dual action agitators and surgilator agitators because the soap just stays in place unlike some washers that be splashing soap and water during the washing process and makes it look so messy. I like these agitators...it lets the soap and water do its job.
Yes the DD washers have more "flow" and efficient turnover. Though I like a little drama in the wash action also. Especially with that Whirlpool commercial. Agitation wise that machine has the best of both worlds. More sloshing with the longer strokes and greater "flow" with the shorter strokes.
@@patcola7335 The wash action from the Whirlpool commercial I really like but there's one washer that I couldn't stand which was the GE Filter-Flo....the wash action makes me cringe 😬
@@ETG84 I was more a fan of the GE straight vane activators than the ramps agitators they mostly used. Ramp agitators are ok but I've always liked the wash action of the straight vanes far better.
I have elite Direct drive model like this that is still working it was give to me after we got kicked out of the building where we had are youth center for kids
On a side note: warm rinses will rinse your clothes so much better than cold rinses, especially in the winter when the incoming tap water temperature is around 40 degrees. Pat this machine does it right, where it sets the temperature to around 75F... so it still saves energy. :)
Nice machine the way American top load should work. One rinse is definitely not enough way to sudsy. I didn't see a spray rinse between wash and rinse cycle.
It only does a spray rinse between wash and rinse on the Permanent press/Casual side of the cycle. A 2nd rinse would have definitely helped. Thanks for watching !

I agree with Pete, very smooth machine. Your guy really did a great job on this.

Nice one piece agitator
@@CandelabratowerThis was the agitator Whirlpool used in many of their earlier direct drives.
whirlpool use to contract with sears for the Kenmore models and they had interchangeable parts
Yes. The Sears/Whirlpool relationship went back to when Whirlpool was still Upton before they merged with 1900 Corp.

The clothes don’t feel as wet either when you take them out from a warm rinsing machine. They dry faster also.
@@patcola7335 Yes they do, which also saves energy, yet no modern top loading washer offers a warm rinse equivalent to this.
