Interesting that you've done the reverse of my own experience. I started learning very traditionally with lots of grammar until reaching B1 and later pivoted to the comprehensible input approach.
haha yeah i would not say i've pivoted to a traditional language learning approach, but I am finding supplemental grammar study helpful!
