All of her music has a y2k early 2000’s vibe and her singing style is soft and I think that’s why both songs are sung the way they are. If you have time listen to puppy love by her (on ur on time I mean lol) it has the same vibe
They actually filmed it in my city, Lisbon, Portugal. Those are really popular places to chill among the youth too, it was a big deal when they were filming but everyone thought it was a dance cover group bcs theres no way any kpop group would film here lol but turns out it was actually them and its pretty exciting since portugal is a small country and idols usually dont even perform or tour here

I know for Americans ETA does mean estimated time of arrival however, the names that were included in the teaser seemed to match the incident as well but people say they are really common names in Spain. Honestly I have no clue why they included those names but in the lyrics ETA does match estimated time of arrival definition. It’s hard for me to assume there were bad intentions.

I enjoy this very much. Some people irritated me when they are clearly out of their depth being too much and too long in kpop that’s full of cliches and unoriginality seeing something a little out of the box and they short circuited saying stage presence and vocal aren’t good enough when it is their narrow exposure of performance art and music that are the problem. The shortcomings are theirs, not the artists they are watching. Anyway! Very informative and entertaining reaction! Thank you!

i feel like newjeans' music is the straight opposite of groups like nct and straykids. Its super simple, clean and fresh; there's no over-complicated production, not a lot of big beat drops and changes in the sound etc
