I just bought this Bip U Pro watch. I like it very much. I agree about the not always on screen it can safe battery better. If i wanna check time i simply raise up my hand and this Bip U Pro screen will lit up automatically. No need to press side button to lit up the screen.
For the price, $49. It’s incredibly hard to beat. The user interface is terrific, and gps is accurate. The whole watch is easily worth the money, anyone looking for an intro smartwatch for fitness, buy this.
Hi.... I just got my Bip S a month ago, and I prefer the always on Transreflective Display to the LCD of the Bip U/Pro. Real battery saver, and gets even brighter in Direct Daylight. I also has got a built in GPS.
I love this watch and I have it myself. The gps works really good and the system runs very good. The only problem I have with this watch is that the heart rate monitoring isnt that accurate. Often it shows to high or to low numbers. But the rest is very good
I got this watch for fathers day, I kinda like it except for the heart rate part. I had it set to notify me every 10 minutes and the numbers jumped all over the place. I have a slower heart rate (45-59) and no matter what it the number is, it always says "Heart rate too High" I would expect it to say "Heart rate low" or something.

Great review as always. I was able to try out the Bip U Pro today and was left disappointed with the notifications. The iPhone’s stock calendar and reminder notifications show up with no body text on the Bip U Pro. Other app notifications like Gmail show the body but not the subject. My Bip S was able to do all of the above correctly. I’m surprised this was never mentioned by anyone.
Since I've lost 60% of my hearing, I need a notification robust watch with alarm. Used Amazfit devices before, it's good for the price you're paying. No fancy stuffs,but it works with long battery life
Please show some paths recorded from the GPS of the watch (either from the Zepp app or GPX files). Bip U Pro is claimed to have a high-accuracy GPS, so we're interested to know how well it tracks on the map (not just distance numbers, for example if the line on the map is close to ur actual path or if it's jerking around and stuff). If you could also make a simultaneous comparison of those paths with other watches like GTS, GTS2, would be epic! Thanks!
It would be nice to show the different parameters in the most common activity modes. For exemple, the running mode doesn't always show the pace or the instant speed. That's one of the things that actually vary between the smartwatches. The number of sport modes are usually the same.
Finally!!!! Can't wait to see your review about this one. I am really in-between waiting for this one to be available for EU or to go and buy Mi Watch since from yesterday the global version is available for buying. Btw do you consider reviewing the Mi Watch Global aka Color Sports edition? Cheers you the best.

Got this in SG last week for SGD89. Been using it for runs w GPS. Tracks accurately with lotsa exercise data. Managed to pair it with MI body composition scale. A MUST HAVE for comprehensive body profiling
So it tracks it by itself program ? Or you have to Connect it with phone but does it stuck from long distance ? Cuz if you run you dont want to curry phone with you

I found your channel this weekend and since then hooked up.. Even ordered my first Amazfit watch. This is the first time I heard Amazfit brand here in USA.. Too good reviews. What camera, mic & video editing software do u use? Do u do all by urself or u hv a team?
After one month of use my watch started bugging. Wouldn't save workouts, would say watch needs to be synchronized even though I sychronizr after every workout. Would record time but wouldn't record calorie loss.

Great review as always, since this has a mic and no speaker, I pretty sure there will be a Bip version later down the track that will have one, if they cam keep it small and battery life to at least 10+ days, Im sold! HUAWEI doesn’t work with strava and you can’t output gpx. Check out the huawei user forums to see two years of them lying that they would deliver this.
Does it have a timer? Can you time in seconds? How is the alarm? Can you log your food with the app? Can you the calories in and out? When you have a timer on, can you switch apps? (For example to see your heart rate and then back to timer)
@@halmcgoo6659 Picked the Bip U Pro. GPS is more accurate than the original Bip. Battery lasts more than 7 days with about 7 hours of running time per week. I only wear the watch when I'm running. The only downside I can think of is that I have to lift the wrist for a second before I can see the data, whereas I could see it immediately if I wore the always on Bip S.
Just got mine. Really like it. Tired of expensive other watches. Battery is great. I actually use the countdown, heartbeat, weather, step counter, breath and alarm the most. Had the bip s but the screen was not as good. Great review. Thanks.

Can't find any info about battery life during gps tracking. Can you spread some info about that? As I am searching a smartwatch and tend to use it for long hikes I am conserned about the battery life... I had first Bip and it lasted more than a whole day and I usually charged it at nights, but If Bip U pro doesn't last for a whole day it looks pretty useless for me and I would take Bip S. Although I am more fond of Bip U pro features.
Weird thing about mine is I'll say set the alarm for a certain time and it will always set the alarm for an hour earlier than I said. Also, when the info transfers to Strava, the numbers change.

Im thinking of buying one for myself. But im still wondering, is it possible for this watches sync with bookdoc apps?
Does this model show running speed on the watch screen? I know it does on the app. Also can you ask Alexa what your speed is and it answers?

I'm wondering how does Amazfit Bip/BIP U (PRO) calculate calories. It always way lower compare to Garmin, Fitbit, etc. Any explanation from amazfit?
