one of the best things that happened to me this year was discovering Noelle’s channel ✨ thank you for making this miserable year a lot brighter for so many of us! 💫
I met my first boyfriend this year, we were long distance and edited a magazine together. He recently passed from Cancer which has devastated me and I am totally numb but through the year, he introduced me to some great authors. He introduced me to Jean-Paul Sartre and Beauvoir and the existentialist movement. These authors are incredibly enriching and they added to my personal philosophies on life. I was introduced to Honoré De Balzac and Jan Potocki (The Manuscript Found In Saragossa). We had a wonderful time discussing the politics and philosophies of these novels that so greatly enriched our lives, all the while enriching each other’s lives through our love and connection. He sent me so many books to go through and he was the pinnacle of intelligence and beauty. All of these books greatly improved my personal thought and I went on to discuss these in my personal essays and poetry.
thank you for sharing something so personal. im going to check out these authors you've both recommended. i hope you're doing well, and it doesn't change anything, but i'm so sorry for your loss. you sound like such interesting people to be around and talk to. take care and have a good new year.

The audio book for the kiss quotient is fantastic! The narrator does an amazing job of captivating stella‘s insecurities and strengths. Just, how do some say: chef‘s kiss 😊
I know I’m like a month late to the gig but I wanted to add my fave books of 2020 because I hadn’t seen them cropping up on booktok/booktube and I felt that they deserved some recognition ya know 1. Soul Tourists (Bernadine Evaristo) 2. A Monster Calls (Patrick Ness) 3. Call Me By Your Name (André Aciman) 4. The Children Act (Ian McEwan) 5. If Beale Street Could Talk (James Baldwin)

Thank you so much for recommending it so often, it is for sure a new romance favorite!!

2020 has def sucked but discovering your channel and Stephen king through you was one of my highlights this year !! I’m so grateful for the smiles and positive vibes you’ve sent us all this year
Discovering your channel has been one of the highlights of 2020! I’ve surpassed my 2020 goodreads challenge by 400% and a lot of it is because of you! In a year where I’ve not been able to see my family because they literally live on the other side of the planet; my job as a grade 5 teacher has been it’s most challenging with virtual learning and COVID closures; I’ve lost people this year. That said, reading has been able to get me through it. Thank you for inspiring me, your positive and candid energy and some great recommendations! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. ❤️🧡💛💚💜
Thank you for not just doing books that came out in 2020! I feel like our older books get shunted but there's so many good ones that we may have missed
I can tell things have been exciting for you for a while. You are yourself in every special way. You've become you wholeheartedly, and I love this. I'm striving to get there, too. I guess I'm ninety-eight percent there.
Ahhhh so many good books on this list!!! I only haven’t read a few and those are on my TBR! 🥰 it makes me so happy how much you love The Hating Game! That book is just so freaking good 😫 and omg everything you said about The Shining is so true and spot on! The book is so different from the movie and I didn’t expect that either since I watched the film like a million times before I read the book haha
you're completely right about ready player one being a good book to break up the feeling of stagnation. it's the first book I've read in quite a while and wholeheartedly enjoyed it and found it fun to read again. thank you forever for recommended that book
Top 5: Educated by tara westover Born a crime by trevor noah Seven husbands of Evelyn hugo by taylor Jenkins reid Beach read by emily henry Get a life chloe brown by talia Hibert
Thank you for everything you’ve done this year 💛 I don’t think you have an idea of how much great positive impact you’ve made on us, you helped me start to read again and I’ll truly be forever grateful I found not only someone to look up to, but also someone that I feel connected to (even if we’re not friends haha but I mean I feel like you will be there for me, even if you don’t know me, to make me smile or to recommend a great book, just like you can be CERTAIN I’ll be here for you too) Have a great 2021 queen petunia 💛
my top 5 books of the year: 5. Born A Crime by Trevor Noah 4. Writers & Lovers by Lily King 3. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig 2. Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann 1. All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr every single one of them DESTROYED me :')
