- When a Nation's economy collapses, the citizen rely on this ancient practice to survive.
Bartering, it is older than any known currency. Exchanging of goods and services, finding a fair value for what you need versus what you have. Understanding the nature of the crisis will give you a better opportunity to succeed where others falter.

Prepping in South America...
I was just telling my son how the current society has stupefied everybody and most people have no useful skills. I was taught by my father to be a jack of all trades and as a woman, wife and mother, I have a lot of skills that help our family save and be resilient. That's what we need to be working on right now.
You're right. Self-reliance is definitely a skill that has faded in the shadow of 24/7 binge buying and easy order fast delivery. Even the simple home or auto maintenance, maybe people just call somebody or bring it to a shop without ever thinking "Is this something I can do myself?"
You are awesome with your information for us.
I'm glad people find it helpful
Excellent barter video. I agree. Seeds, spare tools, skills of every nature, quilts, wound bandages and homemade tinctures and medicines. Thank you again for covering this topic ❤️🙏🇺🇸
I definitely feel that people should start thinking long term , invest in themselves. Even a hobby can become very useful when it's a skill or knowledge that can be used in a practical manner.
@@TheUrbanSentinelChannel Amen Sir 🫡🙏🙏🙏❤️

Will do 👍
Regarding foreclosure, during the Great Depression of 1929 until WWII, bank foreclosures were largely loans that were near term and largely paid off. Those with large balances were left intact, unless there was a serious concern about delinquency. This was due to the fact of the back's greed as the near term were largely paid off and the banks could foreclose and have a viable asset at their disposal. Additionally, loans back then continued as principle was paid down and not interest. Talk about predatory lending... Yikes and gadzooks!
Was wondering when you would post your next podcast. I look forward to it all the time 👍
I got caught up with my To Do list. Trying to get back to regular schedule 🤞😄
Your discussion about barter is one that I can follow. When you got into the relationship between the “worth” of a countries’s currency and the taxes it levies on its people is new to me and way over my head. I will watch this açaí and see if it makes sense to me.
Where else can I get the facts about this particular economic theory?
Thought provoking! Thanks.
Cut and paste this into Google or a Chat GPT
" Explain how the US government uses fiat currency to support its standing in global markets and what role tax revenue plays in the national debt, what would happen if the value of the US dollar were to collapse "
You'll get a basic break down, without having to go to multiple sites like the US Treasury or the economist and scroll thru articles.
I'm glad you did find it interesting, I met a guy about 20 years ago, he keyed me into some of the behind the scenes with the US dollar and how things are shuffled around like 3 card Monte.
The most effective barter items in our times is: medical supplies and alcohol; pure grain alcohol is cheapest next would be high content vodka. These can be used to make tinctures for medical use.
Even just basic medical needs can become critical without some of the simple overlooked items.
@@TheUrbanSentinelChannel Simple med items is what I'm speaking of; such as: aspirin, band aid, topical iodine, etc.
Thank you for your work.
Thank you for watching 👍
Costco is now dealing gold and silver. GameStop will soon trade collectibles. Slowly, Americans are ditching the dollar for tangible assets.
It's just a matter of what assets can be readily used in any scenario and how values balance on a scale against each other.
excellent info sir💯
Thank you👋😁
Cigarette are good for barter, but may go stale on the shelf. I store single servings of liquor as a barter asset.
I know a few Die Hard smokers....they don't care 😂🤣 they will smoke'm
A family member moved to another country and we received his huge stash of fine liquors... I kept everything to barter.
Keep that pipeline flowing, as long as it passes customs, you could have a very lucrative stash of goods that you know can't really be found off the shelf here or at a reasonable price 😄👍
@@TheUrbanSentinelChannelKeeping the plain vodka, gin, cognac and fine whisky for tinctures and medicinal preparations.
The answer to the staleness issue is to grow your own "tabacci"!
