- A momentous day for 3 of the 4 San Jose chicks, as they ventured outside the nest box of their own volition. Unlike a few days ago, when banders "forcibly" removed them from the nest.

Love that 3 out of the 4 flutterballs have discovered life outside the nest. They will soon have an eye opening experience when they discover the rest of the world at the.end of the parapet.. I can see they're going to have lots of fun soon. 🐥🐥🐥🐥

Imagine how great is the moment you lift up and realize you can fly.. and you're a falcon, the best flyers out there.
I've seen it in person. The first time mom takes them to a spot where they can really test their skills. It's awesome!

So cute how Silver put one pantalooned leg on the ramp as if to say, "Nope, the water's too cold, not going in." Meanwhile, her sisters enjoyed galumphing down the ramp and examining portions of the front and side yards. Love this stage of their growth and their curiosity about the world outside the nest. Thanks for the fluff, SKH.
Annie's chicks still come back to nest after spending day out. these however are sleeping outside now. Both are good in a way. Former, you don't have nest empty for now atleast, latter you can have the best air to breathe!
