Kanami's nickname is Mincho (Meen-choh). She is truly a sweetheart who is constantly trying to do her best, and even says "I will do my best" quite often. When she gets aggressive like during her solo in this video we call that "Mincho Mode". She sometimes gets wild and does things that she doesn't remember doing afterward. She was just awarded with her own Kanami Signature Limited Edition PRS Guitar. The very first one awarded to a Japanese musician.
Oh, yeah, the girl named Kanami is a very nice polite girl with a demure smile who quietly composes the music for the band. "Mincho" is her alter-ego on stage, the woman who throws her whole body into playing lead guitar (seriously it looks at time like she's going to let the guitar throw her off stage, if she's not strangling it) and loses all control, especially when she goes wild on a solo part.

Really excellent reaction, Seatin... and I watch a LOT of reactions (thousands of Band-Maid reactions alone already). You really dug in on listening and learning about them. SUBBED! We Madiacs love all the maids, but most of us have a special place in our heart for the little 810 year old pigeon, Miku, who founded the band, and is the heart of the band. For me, being a guitarist, and appreciator of great musical composition, I appreciate Kanami for her mad guitar skills, but even moreso for her compositional skills. Misa is probably the most skilled player on her instrument in the band, so you can't help but love her for that (I literally have NEVER heard her drop a note live). And you can't help but love Akane for smiling all the time playing drums, and for having gone from a really good drummer during her career to being a really excellent drummer. And, well, looking and sounding like Saiki does... how could you not love our vampire queen? You see the problem with favorites here? 😄
From Japan BAND-MAID is a five-member girl rock band. This year marks their 12th anniversary. The members have not changed. They are a hard rock band and are considered by fans to be one of the best hard rock bands in the world. They usually have 23 songs and 2 hours of live performances. Zen is the op for anime Zenshu, which means edit everything (from scratch) 😅 Now it makes more sense why Kanami goes frantic with her guitar. Some people say it's too out of place and jarring, but it would make perfect sense if you read the plot of the anime.

That was a great first time reaction. You do not know yet what you’ve got yourself into. You have to see their live videos to really appreciate their incredible musicianship. You mentioned ‘Real Existence’ during your reaction. It’s not a bad place to start, but you must react to the Official Live Video. There will be a lot of commenters attesting to their greatness, and they will be correct.
And going on twelve years together with the same members, these girls just keep getting better. I hope you get to their older music too, which is still relevant today.

Thanks, nice video, lots of interesting thoughts. Just to say, I know you didn't mean anything negative by it, but "idols" is a dirty word for many fans of rock bands such as Band-Maid. The reason is that Band-Maid are - first and foremost - virtuoso musicians and highly creative songwriters, and idols have a very different skillset. The band themselves said in their early days that they didn't mind being called a "girl-band", but they would correct journalists who called them an idol group. No disrespect to actual idol groups, who for example can dance, which Band-Maid can't do (at least not to a professional standard!).
Those profiles are very old and outdated and to answer your question - yes they watch and enjoy watching reaction videos, even spotting at least one reactor 'Mr RockNRoll' in the audience at concerts on 2 occassions. If you react to Real Existence, as good as the MV is , the live version is best although you could do both and nobody will complain.
Always watch your XG reactions as they are excellent and I am an Alphaz. But I am a Maidiac first and foremost. Love that you found Band-Maid who is my favorite hard rock band of all time.

I think Honkai (live), Warning (MV), From Now On (MV), Domination (official live), Shambles (MV), Puzzle (official live) should keep you occupied for now and give you a taster. Then Hate? Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

That was a great first time reaction. You do not know yet what you’ve got yourself into. You have to see their live videos to really appreciate their incredible musicianship. You mentioned ‘Real Existence’ during your reaction. It’s not a bad place to start, but you must react to the Official Live Video. There will be a lot of commenters attesting to their greatness, and they will be correct.
And going on twelve years together with the same members, these girls just keep getting better. I hope you get to their older music too, which is still relevant today.

Thanks, nice video, lots of interesting thoughts. Just to say, I know you didn't mean anything negative by it, but "idols" is a dirty word for many fans of rock bands such as Band-Maid. The reason is that Band-Maid are - first and foremost - virtuoso musicians and highly creative songwriters, and idols have a very different skillset.
The band themselves said in their early days that they didn't mind being called a "girl-band", but they would correct journalists who called them an idol group. No disrespect to actual idol groups, who for example can dance, which Band-Maid can't do (at least not to a professional standard!).
Those profiles are very old and outdated and to answer your question - yes they watch and enjoy watching reaction videos, even spotting at least one reactor 'Mr RockNRoll' in the audience at concerts on 2 occassions. If you react to Real Existence, as good as the MV is , the live version is best although you could do both and nobody will complain.
