He on point, as Kambosos don't just stand in front to get jabbed all night, he controls distance/range too.
He can Hit Haney, a slick boxer can still be opened from counters when they throw.
When you throw and opponent throws at the same time, you can get hit.
Kambo is a counter puncher, and has speed to do it. Has angles to hit awkward target.
Has footwork.
The Teo fight wasn't a fluke, he got the essential skills against slick boxers and Jeff knows it.
He basically said Shakur is the best boxer even if he moves up to 135, Tank beats him only if he stops him. Shakur’s boxing talent is once in a generation, I’ve been saying he’s the best of them all and he’ll just keep proving me right💯

Shakur remained unfazed throughout the whole fight. Complete domination.
Shakur is from Newark and trained at elite heat. My BJJ school was in the same building and I would always *hear him shadow boxing and training , I mean all the time and with Vito as well this was back in around 2016-17 when he was a kid . His work ethic and technique are commended. I would train for MMA fights as well and he would still be the last person in the gym as a kid. Gervonte is a tough ass fighter not taking one thing away from him .
I think this fight would be good for the both of them, however I see shakur totally picking him apart with zero problem.

I think Mexicans all across the board need a more advanced approach to their style of boxing. This "coming forward Mexican style" is antiquated but they keep doubling down on the stalking flat footed approach. No head movement , adjustments or even a jab. A jab alone would have allowed him to breach that distance. Shakur is a masterclass boxer and I appreciated this fight. Closest to Mayweather IQ I've seen thus far with Fury being N exception.

I think Shakur would force tank to really go in his boxing bag. Shakur is good enough to negate tanks power advantage. And tank is low volume enough to not make it the roughest fight for Shakur. He'd come to pressure so Shakur just basically has to be in shape to throw and move a little more than usual. Shakur won't fall for tanks traps. 7 rounds to 5. Shakur by unanimous decision.

Shakur's performance although good, wasn't anything special. He did what he had to do to win, but couldn't put away the smaller man in Valdez. If he were to face Tank any time soon, he'd be in big trouble - Tank I believe will make easy work of him.
