To me. this is an AOR/heavy rock song from their latest LP. BTW, Lovebites will be performing the US leg of their World Tour 2024 on :
(1) September 6, at ProgPower XXIII, Atlanta, Georgia (sold out)
(2) September 8, at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall, Dallas, Texas
(3) September 10, at Echoplex, Los Angeles, California
(4) September 12, at Café Du Nord, San Francisco, California
(2), (3), (4) - tickets went on sale from June 3. Even more shows might be announced later, so watch this space.

2:51 The song's sound instantly reminds me of Iron Maiden's "Rainmaker" ("Dance of Death" album, 2003). No wonder, as Iron Maiden belong to Lovebites' strong influences, and they have no problem admitting that.

Great reaction Tim! 'My Orion' is one of my favourites from LBs 'Judgement Day' album. Very radio 📻 friendly track! PS 'Wicked Witch' is another great track from the LP - it features a very Maiden-esque 🇬🇧 gallop.

Great reaction Tim. The Orion/Oh, lion thing is actually a problem in English. We pronouce Orion like onion in Japanese and it's the same in most of laguages. I think English is only language they pronounce "i" as "eye". It's usualy just simple the i of inside. Here's another problem of Japanese side. We don't distinguish R and L. That is the reason Orion can be Oh, lion in Japan.
Thank you for continuing to check out Lovebites. Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Their tiny bassist even growls at key moments.
They’re scheduled to release their new album “Born Again” on June 28, and it’s a banger. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. They just posted a video single from the album: “Still Burning” ruclips.net/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/видео.html

Me again Tim! Not about LOVEBITES, but I noticed you haven't yet reacted to MARDELAS 🇯🇵 🤘 . Great Female Fronted heavy metal band led by vocalist Marina Hebiishi. She was lead vocalist for DESTROSE when Miho and Haruna were there.
