what I reckon happened is the buckler that the enemy had on his hip clipped into the floor, and I guess they have an impact-with-environment system that got bugged and basically emulated an explosion.
i went frame by frame. the shield of the guy on the ground started rapidly colliding for some reason until it shot his body and 2h axe off like a missile 2 frames later and that collision of the axe into his leg is what damaged tomato
Been playing this game for a bit. Spears trivialize everything. They really need to edit them to be more balanced. Not for realism sake, but for funs sake. Feels like I have to default to either spear or scythe if i want to make any progress... the reach advantage means either you or the enemy will take damage as you close the gap.
