Moving to California | Year abroad at CSULB

- Hey!
This vlog may seem slightly boring because nothing too crazy happened but it's special to me lol. If you didn't know or are confused, I am a student at the University of Kent in England but am doing a study abroad year at California State University, Long Beach. I have been here nearly 3 weeks already and have been having the best time. I have always wanted to move to California at some point in my life, and after I found out about doing a year abroad back in sixth form, I knew this was something that I needed to do. If you know me, you know that this is wildly out of my comfort zone. I never thought I would have the courage to move so far away from my friends and family to somewhere where I knew no one. However, ever since I got here, it's been amazing and I have already seen myself become a more confident person. As soppy as it is to say, I am extremely proud of myself and am really looking forward to this next year. Thank you so much to my family and friends for supporting me do this. I miss you all tons!!

Did you have other universities to choose from or was CSULB the only option?
I could choose 5 different universities across the world that my uni offered for my course. But I know that some uni’s do it quite differently and have way more options.
