Thanks Steve, I marvel at your hard work and endless enthusiasm. I would have thought the software would be farther along. It would be fun to see their requirements definition. Is this the latest version of the vehicle? The rear lid looks like the earlier model. Where's the next presentation?
I just watch another video of the Aptera in St. Moritz, and the drivers door fits perfectly. No problem with fit and finish at all. What I suspect we’ve seen in this video is the door isn’t closed all the way. If you think about it most car doors have a double click when you close them. Every been driving down the road and noticed your car door isn’t closed all the way? It’s locked into place with that first click but won’t open unless you pull the handle to open it then slam it shut to close it all the way.
I agree it made look more futuristic, but I would have preferred seeing it in broad daylight. It was really hard to really take stock of things in the dark.
The door was not damaged recently. If you look at your Aptera Footage from ECW2022 Analysis video at the 7:26 mark, you'll see that the bottom of the door is sticking out casting a shadow on the body. While this fit problem would be unacceptable on a production vehicle, it's no concern for worry on a prototype.

I definitely don’t hate them but I also agree, I think they should just remove all of them. The one on the nose is gone for Delta. It way stealthier without the bright green logo.
Yes the logo seems to be from a completely different era of the company and with so much changing in the EV market as a whole the logo definitely doesn't feel as "timeless" as the vehicle itself. I think taking a more understated approach with regards to badging would be a good move.
It's probably just your personal taste. I'm sure Aptera can add an off function in the software UI if they bother you that much. I believe the side logos also function as charge status indicators. I think it looks great. I didn't mind the front logo. Should be an option for those who like it. I wouldn't mind paying extra for it. Not everyone prefers that "stealth" look.
The logo was stated specifically to be something they are still considering. There's no certainty on whether or not it will be there. And if it is there, if it will light up. And if it does light up, if the colors are changeable.
I wonder if they could implement a push button door close like new trunks have, that way it closes properly every time and prevents damage from people slamming it shut (like they were in this video)
Automatic closure adds cost, complexity and methods of failure. It is more reliable and cheaper to avoid it. I've never seen a hatch or manual latch fail from being used.

Aptera behaves (in my eyes) very strange: They got offered important contacts in Europe since months. And now they burn money with a thip to St. Moritz, and could have been in Davos? With much more impact! VERY strange. They design an efficient car, and act so inefficient? Very strange to me (from Europe).
@@garywozniak7742 Okay, but what is the reason to ignore the offered network to German TÜV (chance to the homologation in Europe?). Networking is the cheapest and most effective way to boost aptera. (And, by the way. Happy that you are a part of the movement.)
@@garywozniak7742 Would they like to have it driven to Hannover? And start the homologation process in EU? (We could help to arrange the needed contacts.)
So they are having problems with funding? The answer is to spend who knows how much to ship the car to St. Mortiz and the results are to show it off in some dark garage & damaged to boot? Did it get driven at all? Couldn't they find any such conferences in the US? This questionable choice on top of the decision to have people jump over others who have been on waiting list for ages, because they offer more cash. I was really feeling supportive of this venture & am not sure now if this is ever really going to produce a sellable car. I wasn't looking at other EV alternatives but am now.
Whatever "official" from Aptera sponsored this presentation has performed the "oldest trick in the book"...using darkness, the lack of light so one cannot see detail...Hollywood film-makers have used this "technique" for uncounted decades...your CGI is a brand new technology?...film it in darkness, don't want your audience to see the obviously cheap movie sets?, film it in darkness. Can't make a REAL car?, crank up your computer & do a rendering.
There was also a presentation/discussion inside at another time during the event. The vehicle was already nearby in Modena. The cost was basically to flatbed the vehicle up to St Moritz, and for Fambro and Anthony to fly out there.

I’m hoping that we will see more video of Aptera actually being shown to the potential investors
The vehicle has been st CPC in Italy. It was a short trip from there to bring it to this event.
@@Kunath-Group you could ask Aptera. I am just a reservation holder.
@@garywozniak7742 I contacted them soo often and got no ( in words "no") substantial answers.
They were in Italy with CPC group. It's just a 200 mile drive from Modena to St Moritz
Get Roger Federer for a couple of million dollars, and he can sponsor the car.
What the hell. For a company short of money. This is a waste of it
There was also a presentation/discussion inside at another time during the event.
The vehicle was already nearby in Modena. The cost was basically to flatbed the vehicle up to St Moritz, and for Fambro and Anthony to fly out there.
How is it a waste to promote the company to a conglomerate of wealthy individuals? This video was taken of some random hotel guests.
Incomplete Trike that is badly presented. Would such a presentation open your wallet?

If they're breaking Gamma that means that it's getting use. I want to see more wear and tear this is good data for production.
