I was there rooting for Donahue. I was 9, loved it! Such an amazing series back then.
The infield was amazing looking back, tons of pony cars all supporting their manufacturers and drivers. Camaro Z28s, Boss 302 Mustangs, Javelins, Pontiac Trans Ams, Cudas etc etc, everywhere. The good ol days.

Hey, I just drove a 2005 Mustang in Laguna Seca…in GT PSP. Not the same car but they’re both 2+2 RWD V8-powered cars. 🤷‍♂️

Was this incident where Posey put Revson out of the race the reason for the Revson/Posey brief fight?

Who was the narrator? He is very familiar and I am brain cramping on his name.

Great footage. Thank you. Anything available with Australian Ford racer, Allan Moffat? He came over to the U.S. and did a season in 69 or 70?

Wonderful. I wasn't born yet in 1970, and I'm not American, yet I recognised all of those cars and drivers

What happened to motorsport,, soon electric cars,, nobody will watch it. Australia does Touring car masters better than any country. you want to see mustangs, camaro,s and javlins go head to head with aussie muscle cars pre 1975 check it out.

seethe. LMDh and Hypercar have brought massive prototype fields for the first time in years. GT3 is absurdly healthy and TA2 is rapidly growing.
