I would go with a Maxxix forecaster plus EXO 3C DC TLR MTB Tyre27.5 x 2.8. This tract is steep and your going to need some great pulling up power. These wide front will give a bigger foot print run at 200 bar or 30 ppi.

Personally in my expert opinion, I'd go for the Panaracer Fire XC 1.8s. It's clearly a hard packed cross country cruise.

In my professional opinion as 'some guy on the internet', I definitely think that to reduce rolling resistance you should go for a 28c slick at 100psi.
