The comments under this video are garbage. you don't understand that this the underlying infrastructure for a million things that every single company can latch onto. The interface doesn't matter. it's going to change and reiterate and get smaller and less obtrusive. And this company may not even make it. But what they've developed the technology that they have it may look like a Nortel in the future, but this what you see in front of you is what's most important.
How do we get close to this concept video
It's real.
It’s been real since whenever the magic leap 1 came out haha
lot of noise and not one word describing the item, sounds like a scam.
timing so fast compare apple vision pro
That looks so much worse than your original advertisements years ago - truly disappointing 😕. Seems to be a long way to go for real-life AR that creates value. I don not see the point in those applications - there is no augmentation required at all!
You're so stupid.
I still remember the whale jumping out of the school gymnasium video that later just proved to be cgi. These new graphics look more Nintendo 64. Wonder if they would have gotten 2 Billion US in investment had they shown the Nintendo 64 bit version first?
iliadz Yeah around 2015 and 2016 they were saying they had developed their tech hugely and it was really taking off. Now they aren't any better than hololens. Bit off way more than they could actually deliver. Meh. I'm sure the tech will go far in the future, but they are way further behind to what they let on about from 2014 to 2018. I gave up following news about them for 8 months but just thought about it now.
Worst thing is that NReal.. seems to be better, at least clearer than them but Nreal had only 31 mil usd in investment.. sounds like a money pit to me
@@igujuprogress2224 I mean it isnt. Magic leap has put countless months or years into their optical systems but realizing it cant get better with todays tech, they then focused on just getting a ROI for their investors and started building the magic leap one and its a amazing device. Nreal uses preexisting optics, preexisting hardware and software. looking at magic leaps headset the ergonomics, processing power and software is leaps ahead of Nreal right now. (I have visited Nreal personally and have bought a magic leap personally as well.)
low res, pixelated, aliased, stuttery... this is the future? :S
Well it aint the future but it is the present. mostly because of the optics as a bottleneck.
@@joejia1410 tis just thing with magic leap. look at hololens 2 and it already feels and looks much better
Imagine play pokemon go!!!
SİEVENSİV -Leap
low polygon count must be a thing lately. let's project a cybertruck into the air and it will feel right at home!
It's all a bit Black Mirror this shot!
Huh.
meaning? good or bad?
Heard N real is better.
Considering this company had 10 years, 2 billion usd and Nreal had 3 years, 31mil usd.. thats such a shame.. :(
And Nreal hooks up to your phone..
no, if your opinion is like this the magic leap ain't for you. Magic leap ones use different display technologies, different target audience and completely different goals than nreal. For starters, magic leap is for enterprise and developers and has more sensors thus more flexibility. You also get a different type of display. Nreal uses an acrylic like piece to reflect the light but the magic leap uses a waveguide making the device's front end thinner.
Also if you're saying this have you ever tried them? I have and the Magic Leap is 2-4 steps ahead because of just the design, ergonomics and processing power. Your phone is not a viable option for these kinds of things and you should probably consider something else or just read the full comment.
You see Nreal's technology is good but not great and their headset although can hook up to a phone does not deliver the capabilities like the magic leap does. I believe one of their founders is even from Magic Leap. And the capabilities of the Magic Leap is way ahead of the Nreal Light. Personally the Magic leap suits our companies goals. The NREAL LIGHT does not give quite as much processing power, sensor arrangement or ergonomics for our clients and our company as a whole. If you have read this far .. Moral of the story: Please dont start hating just because they had so much money and time to develop this. Magic leap is a very secretive company and has already created a headset that is not only more suitable for consumers and enterprise users it has also created a device that suits quite a lot of peoples needs combining hand tracking, eye tracking AND a controller is quite amazing considering that it also has 6 degrees of freedom. dont hate on things when you havent even tried them or bought them.
@@joejia1410 Haha Joe.. you clearly have little understanding of the technology and clearly have a vested interest in Magic leap. Check out this reddit thread for some enlightenment.

Its a sick joke to say that Magic leap is enterprise.. They only stuck the enterprise label when they couldnt sell shit to customers.. How can they claim to be enterprise when they are doing deals with the NBA, Star wars.. are you gonna be shooting at Yoda at the factory?
Magic leap is much better than Nreal
@@ImCallingFromSpringfield NO ITS NOT!!!
What a joke. 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️
lol but it exists now, meta & apple did it.
Magic Leap won't exist in two years thank god. They are a dead end tech and a complete waste of space.
Whatever they are won't matter. This is future of everything and it won't matter if Magic Leap or Maytag does it.
