My take on rogue: I want rogue to be pushed more into the stealth style but not in a way that rewards the landmine that everyone hates. While I hate landmine it’s hard to blame people who just like playing rogue using the most consistently viable playstyle. I wish they would add perks/skills to do with player distortion that fits the stealth aesthetic that allows for a more team comp built rogue. Nerf heal reduction on poison while adding drunk effect to it. An illusionary skill to replace stealth that sends out a shadow clone of yourself that mimics your movement but only it makes noise and you don’t while invis. This turns stealth into a skill bait and can get people to look the wrong way rather than being a landmine playstyle. I can’t think of anything to fix pickpocket with this change but throwing ideas out there. There are some really cool things that could be added to rogue that I feel could replace a style most people detest with something fun that could have counters and innovative uses I can’t even think of to gain the edge during a fight! Imo the devs seem consistently afraid to remove any foundational work of a character even if it’s to replace it with something for the better. They have test servers for a reason.
