ใบตองเป็นหญิงสาวที่ทำงานหนักซึ่งต้องเผชิญกับวันที่ยากลำบากในที่ทำงานด้วยการมาสาย เพื่อนร่วมงานที่ไม่เห็นด้วย และอาหารที่ไม่อร่อย วันของเธอยิ่งแย่ลงไปอีกเมื่อเธอพลาดรถไฟและติดท่ามกลางสายฝนที่ตกลงมา ซึ่งทำให้อาหารเย็นของเธอตกพื้นและทำให้แบตเตอรี่โทรศัพท์ของเธอหมด เมื่อรู้สึกหมดหนทางและท้อแท้ เธอนึกถึงช่วงเวลาที่มีความสุขร่วมกับแม่และอาหารจานโปรดของเธอ นั่นคือ ไข่ยัดไส้หมูสับ ใบตองตัดสินใจโทรหาแม่เพื่อขอสูตรอาหาร โดยตระหนักว่าความรักและความเอาใจใส่ของแม่ทำให้เธอมีพลังและแรงบันดาลใจในการเอาชนะความท้าทายในชีวิต ขณะที่ใบตองเรียนรู้การทำอาหารจานโปรด เธอก็จำความรักและการสนับสนุนของแม่ได้ และรู้สึกขอบคุณสำหรับความสุขและกำลังใจที่แม่ของเธอมอบให้ในชีวิต
Bai Tong is a hard-working young woman who faces a tough day at work with late arrivals, disapproving colleagues, and unappetizing food. Her day worsens when she misses her train and is caught in the pouring rain, which ruins her Pad Thai and drains her phone battery. Feeling helpless and discouraged, she remembers the happy times she spent with her mother and her favourite dish, an egg stuffed with minced pork. Bai Tong decides to call her mother and ask for her recipe, realizing that her mother's love and care give her strength and motivation to overcome life's challenges. As Bai Tong learns to make her favourite dish, she remembers the love and support of her mother and feels grateful for the happiness and encouragement her mother brings into her life.
