Great showcase of what was built. And damn, that big drop LOOKS big. Feels like the new age of trail building is upon us and that’s great news for all.
Thanks for watching Neil! I'm hoping a build like this will be a catalyst for some more innovative and progressive trail builds in the metro. Outstate MN is looking pretty good, now we've just got to get more of this closer to home. BTW - I'm a big fan of your videos over on the bikepacking.com channel.
Heck yeah dude! Nicely done video, you know what you’re doing! 😉 That was a fun day! I was stoked to see what shots you got, turned out sick! Excited for spring so people can rip it! Send it! 🤙🏻
Thanks buddy! That was a super fun day riding. Always enjoying riding and filming with you. I also really appreciate the insight you and Adam provided for the project and some of the decisions that went into making this trail. I'm going to have to find a better route from my house to the western suburbs because I can see myself heading out that direction a lot next season haha!
Can't... wait! Very akin to the Heritage trail system that has been going in just north east of Milwaukee (near Little Switz). The midwest is starting to get some features!
OMG that looks awesome! Honestly, I had written off Monarch. Other than Paradise loop, there just wasn't much "there" there. Now I see a great reason to work it back into the rotation. Thanks for sharing!
I haven't ridden there that often as it's a little bit of trek for me to get out there but I've heard that sentiment from others. I know I'll be out there more often next season!
I moved back to Minnesota after living in Colorado for a few years. I am so psyched to see some new GOOD stuff being built around the Cities and I can't wait to get out to try these trails! Great video, thank you.
Hopefully this trail is just another step to get some more progressive trails in and around the metro. I feel like lots of people have been working on that for a while and are finally seeing the fruits of that labor.
This vid paints a great picture of this spot, excellent vid! Very excited to ride this! That big drop actually looks pretty significant, would you say it’s Giants Ridge road gap level?
Thanks Jeremy! The big drop at Monarch is 6 down and 12 out if I'm remembering correctly. So that would be in a similar range to the road gap on Sector12 and the drop on Return to Send'r I think. Monarch is going to be the hot spot down here next spring.
This has me convinced to finally check out the trails at Monarch, just have to wait until spring opening! That drop looks big even on GoPro so I already know it’s a sender!
I hope so! But I kinda thought I'd get some more videos out this year so we'll see haha! But I'd love to make more. Sometimes I just get distracted by the riding and the video goes out the window. Thanks for watching!
If I remember correctly the biggest drop in the line is 6' down and 12' out. The smallest drop on the line is 1'. So everything else is somewhere in between. It's a ton of fun.
Solid work! Literally obsessed! Makes me feel like I’m back on the west coast best coast! 🌊🧜🏼♀️🫶🏼
Great showcase of what was built. And damn, that big drop LOOKS big. Feels like the new age of trail building is upon us and that’s great news for all.
Thank you! It’s a good sized drop for sure. Can’t think of anything bigger than it locally right now, but excited to see someone top it. Haha!
@@KrisYahner Huck Harbor in Bertram Lakes might have been the biggest drop in the Metro. Not anymore.
This is really great to see, I moved away right before this was completed, but more reason to bring the bike when I come back to visit.

Dang that looks awesome - another great vid, and another win for Pathfinder! Gotta make the drive this spring!
Thanks! Yeah this trail will be worth traveling for I think
Spring can't come soon enough haha. Awesome video!
I know! Hate to wish winter away but I’m ready to ride dirt again! Thanks for watching.
Hell yeah, sweet trails are getting closer to home. I will have to check it out next spring.
Nice, That's lucky for you. I'm stoked for the trails but not stoked about how much I'm going to be driving to the west side next season. haha!
@@KrisYahner I'm hoping to head to southern Utah and Arizona for a month next winter.
@@thim8009 Nice!

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. Can't wait to hit it in the spring. Adam, Matt, and the pathfinder crew keep upping their game.
Thanks for watching! For sure the Pathfinder crew keeps getting better and better.

Right on! Haven't heard of that trail system before. I'll have to check it out.
Good to see your take on it. I always look forward to your videos.
Spring should be fun
Thanks Tufty! Going to be a fun spring for sure.
looks fun
It is!
Thank god I get my license before this will open so I can go as soon as it does
Ha! Good Timing!
Nicely done! Thank you Kris, Adam, Matt & Alex! Great preview of whats been a fun project at Monarch Singletrack. JayT
Thanks Jay! Appreciate you and your work too!
Really cool. Love your videos! Thanks for making them
Thank you for watching! Really appreciate it.
Love the video!
Thanks for watching!
Such a great video and those new features look amazing. Look forward to progressing my jumps :)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. It’s going to be a great spot for progression I think.

Me too! Just moved back to MN in March after 9 years in CO. Miss the mountains like crazy but the single track here is amazing!

Thank you!
That's awesome. How slippery was that? You guys rock. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thanks! The wood was surprisingly grippy for the conditions, but I was very nervous about it the first couple of runs.
This has me convinced to finally check out the trails at Monarch, just have to wait until spring opening! That drop looks big even on GoPro so I already know it’s a sender!
Spring feels so far away right now, haha! It's a decent sized drop.
Finally something fun in MN. Before it got cold and snowy I would basically only ride WTR in River Falls since I liked jumps.
Yeah, there's some good stuff going on over there too. Nice that we're getting a couple of good options around here.
Awesome preview video! Thanks. More content on this channel in 2023??? 🤙🏻

This looks super fun. How big are the drops? Just curious. One looks like a 4-5 footer

Are there any casual trails for us old folks who still like to get out side, besides the paved bike trail going threw carver park?
Yup! There’s a whole trail system of mostly mellow trails.

Hey. Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope you are doing well.
Doing well and hope you are the same! Hopefully you'l hear something from me in the not too distance future.
