I had 4 premolars extracted when I was 16 and then did DTC aligners when I was 29…now I’m totally screwed hahaha I have a severe anterior open bite…I wish I would have just gone to an orthodontist…this patients teeth look incredible already!
Sir I have a question,my 4 teeth is extracted 2 upper&2 lower,& I'm having my aligners with me total 33 sets,Is it sure that my extracted gap will close ?I'm working on the cruise ship so can I carry-on with my sets of trays myself

My bite is way off… should I get braces or Invisalign? I had braces but I took them out 1 day later because I couldn’t eat with them on 😂😂 basically threw away $900… I regret taking them off. It I couldn’t eat so I had to take them off
Hi Matty! Hope you've had a smooth start with your Invisalign treatment! It probably depends on your case. Most of our Invisalign patients are on Dental Monitoring--advanced technology which uses artificial intelligence and a digital scan using a smartphone to "read" the fit of the aligners and track the movement of the teeth. Dental Monitoring determines the best time to switch aligners (sometimes it may be 7 days, or 10, or 12, etc. It really depends on how the teeth are responding to the force applied to them with the aligners.). For people who are not on Dental Monitoring, Dr. usually advises to switch weekly, but some are 10 days--especially if there is a lot of movement to be gained. Your Invisalign prescription is unique and your doctor determines the best treatment plan for you. The most important thing is to wear your aligners as prescribed (22 hours each day). I hope that helps! Best of luck to you on your journey. The end result is going to be amazing!
Hi, in what cases would you consider extracting teeth? My ortho recommended that I extract three, one upper, and two lowers, since I already had an upper extracted before. Are there anything I should consider before deciding to extract?
I trust you had great results, however, to be credible you should show some clinical images, the Clin-check, does not demonstrate anything. All my cases are perfect in it, but still I have some failures or at least partial results.

The orthodontist i saw said I'd have to get braces if i got the extractions to fix my bimaxillary protrusion.
How did his face look after the retraction of the incisors? Nice result with the teeth though!
Better than mine!
@@whiteorthodontics7477 Wonder how it appeared due to his baseline. Any sunken lips etc
Can aligners close a single molar extraction, like tooth #30 for example? 31 is still present as is 29. Thanks!

@jrm jay sorry just realised you had braces not invisalign.
Hey Dr. I’m a pretty similar case and am starting tray 5/35 of my first cycle today. How come some Orthodontists say swap weekly vs. fortnightly?
