It has been a year this month since I left everything and moved abroad to Spain. As I look back I am amazed at all the amazing things I have done in such a short period of time. I have moved apartments twice, changed Spanish schools twice, fought for my visa multiple times, and visited so many great European cities. I am so proud of the incredible things I have done in the last year and it is so good that I have these videos and memories to look back on.

You just focus on your dreams and goals eg the Spanish speaking and just doing what you love that way if that lucky guy is around to find you chances are he's doing something close to your goal and dream so you'll click... right...? Yes I remember all the clips! What a journey! And indeed you should be proud Ash...coming so far, also in such a short time, and accomplishing so much. Most people would wave the white flag when faced with all those hardships. You didn't, and kept on pushing. Nothing short of remarkable. What a heartfelt touching retrospective. One I didn't see here that was also a highlight...the trip to Mont St Michel in France, from I believe last summer. But there were certainly enough memories in this for the ages.
I know your mom and dad have been back this week. I hope you had a lovely time, but now I am left wondering if this video is a farewell to Barcelona?? I know it's been difficult for you at times but you have done so well. I hope your journeys continue and that I get to be a part of them❤❤❤

Don't be discouraged about your language, Ashley. Your desire to earn is to be admired. A good amount of Amricans do not speak a second language. I have been speaking Spanish since I was 8 years old, and I am still learning. Though I am not teaching Spanish anymore, I still watch videos about the language and we travel so I can maintain my proficiency. Good luck and God Bless You!

Personally I like you better than them 🤣 and if you can't find a great guy then what chance do they have? Wishing you the best but learning Spanish is of little value, most people learn the basics in a few weeks off CD's which is all one needs while traveling, the big picture is having a stable income and support, what is your end goals 5-10 years from today. Travel vlogs are too crowded on youtube so you must pick something unique that fits you, also finding a man is easy if you exclude the top 20% men, average guys your age and over are easy to find but it takes work and be quick to dump if they do not share you goals, your looks will fade so this should be your focus, go back to the US, film there, live cheaply, find an average guy who will fund your passions, lots of average guys will do so, or marry an older guy with a few million like me ;), better to choose this now then being forced to do so in 5-10 years, best of luck.
"learning Spanish is of little value" - not if you're living in Spain! That's poor advice. If you live in a country and don't speak the language you'll always be a bit an outsider and you'll always be dependent on the skills of others to make up for your own lack of skill.
